Peaceful State has been the best backed runner in Railway Stakes betting
Punters only want two runners when it comes to the best race WA has to offer, the Railway Stakes (1600m), to be run and won this Saturday at Ascot.
The local hope is Galaxy Star and she has been an outstanding mare since day one. She drew barrier two and was originally $2.90 in from $3.40 but has settled at $3.20.
The other horse met with good support is the Darren Weir trained Peaceful State, who is at $4.80 but has tightened in after opening $6 before the barrier draw. There has also been specking for Gatting ($14-$13).
