As the $20m Everest draws closer, punters are witnessing some notable shifts in the betting landscape.
Think About It has solidified his top spot, moving from an initial $4.50 to stand firm at $4.40.
“Think About It has remained solid at $4.40 as the new favourite with 18 per cent of the market since drawing barrier five on Tuesday night.” TAB’s Rohan Welsh said.
Conversely, I Wish I Win has experienced a decrease in punters’ favour.
“There has been little interest in I Wish I Win from TAB punters since the barrier draw and he has gone from $4 favourite to the second line of betting at $5, after being as long as $5.50 on Thursday morning.” Welsh explained.
Private Eye is garnering attention, improving his position in the market from $7.00 to $6.00.
In other movements, Overpass made a positive jump from $13 to $11, likely to make it a contender to watch.
“Hawaii Five Oh and Shinzo have also attracted attention at double figures.” Welsh highlighted.
The Everest 2023 will be run on October 14, 2023 at Randwick Racecourse.
