For the punters to collect however Smokin’ Joey will have to get past Moriarty($3.80) who was also brilliant in the railway and Elite Belle($7.00) who won the race. A strong speed and a cold ride to allow Smokin’ Joey the last crack at them seems the obvious tactic for the strong finishing Gelding who has been trapped wide in his previous two starts.
The quinella from the Guineas Disposition ($6.00) and Rommel ($9.00) along with the runner up of the railway Balmont Girl ($8.50) round up the main chances according to the market.
