Tenley stormed home to take out the Pierro Plate (1100 metres) in impressive fashion.

The Godolphin filly, specked from $12-$10 late, was back in the second half of the field but Kerrin McEvoy found his way to the outer part of the track and the daughter of Medaglia d’Oro did the rest.

Sweeping to the lead inside the final 100 metres, Tenley beat All Cylinders ($19-$14) which was brave after leading while Jonah ($7.50-$9.50) ran third after missing the start.

Rotator, which had been favourite for the majority of betting, blew from $3.80 in the morning to start $4.80 second pick behind Covert Ops ($4-$4.20). Between them they held 50 percent of the total investment.

BETS: Tenley $500 @ $11 TWICE, $500 e/w @ $10/$2.90

It was an upset in the TAB Highway Handicap (1800 metres) when Fui San ($12-$8.50) arrived in time to claim the prize.

Robbie Dolan timed his run perfectly on the gelding, who put his head down right on the line to beat the unlucky Pontmain ($7.50) which got held up at the wrong time midway down the straight.

Third was Tiara Road ($34) which came down the same part of the track as Fui San did.

While the Terry Robinson-trained winner did have some specking, it was largely a disappointing race for punters as Nothin’ Like Harry was a heavily supported $2.50 favourite.

The giant gelding held 66 percent of the total investment and went around as one of the best supported runners across the country.

BETS: Fui San $300 x $100 e/w @ $10/$2.70, $800 e/w @ $8/$2.40, $1,000 e/w @ $7.50/$2.25 (averaged out), $500 @ $7.50

BETS: Pontmain $2,000 @ $7.50

BETS: Nothin’ Like Harry $1,875 @ $2.50, $1,001 @ $2.50, $1,000 @ $2.50, $1,500 @ $2.30

Gayatri made it back-to-back hotpots to go down after a big upset in the Hurun Report Cup (2400 metres).

While Hugh Bowman was strung up in traffic on Gayatri ($1.90), Andrew Adkins made his move on Curate Princess ($13-$19) which didn’t have a great deal of support to win the race.

In fact, despite being the second least favoured runner (behind Letter To Juliette), Curate Princess beat Gayatri which only found clear running in the latter stages of the home straight with Our Gravano ($9) filling the minor end of the prize.

Gayatri went around with 75 percent of the total investment.

BETS: Curata Princess $2,000 @ $19

BETS: Gayatri $5,000 @ $1.90, $3,300 @ $1.90, $2,500 @ $1.90, $4,000 @ $1.70

The good move for You Make Me Smile throughout the day paid dividends in the Lunar New Year Handicap (1300 metres).

Jason Coyle’s runner was $8 in the morning backed into as low as $4.80 before getting back out to $5.50 at the jump. Leading throughout with Kathy O’Hara aboard, You Make Me Smile charged away to win effortlessly over the very popular favourite Diplomatico with Gaugin ($101) adding plenty of spice to the trifecta.

Diplomatico was three times as popular as anything else and backed from $2.90-$2.50 late. It was responsible for more than 50 percent of the market with Don’t Give A Damn ($3.40-$6) a noted drifter but the most popular outside the favourite.

BETS: You Make Me Smile $1,000 @ $4.80

BETS: Diplomatico $1,400 @ $2.90, $1,000 @ $2.90, $5,000 @ $2.80, $1,900 @ $2.80, $1,505 @ $2.80, $5,000 @ $2.70, $2,500 @ $2.70, $2,000 @ $2.70 TWICE, $1,837 @ $2.70, $5,000 @ $2.50, $2,000 @ $2.50, $1,540 @ $2.50, $5,000 @ $1.30 PLACE

BETS: Don’t Give A Damn $1,000 @ $5.50 TWICE

Eckstein divebombed her rivals in the shadows of the post to win the Southern Cross Stakes (1200 metres).

The Kurt Goldman-trained runner flashed home at the price of $34 for Sam Clipperton, nailing the leader Dothraki ($12) right on the line with hot favourite Brutal ($1.90) narrowly beaten between the pair in third.

Brutal was trapped three-wide the trip and was sensationally backed late, going $1.85 out to $2.05 before being smashed into $1.90. The Team Hawkes runner was responsible for 60 percent of the market and was more than four times as popular as the next best supported runner in Dreamforce ($6.50).

Eckstein held the least amount of money.

BETS: Brutal $5,000 @ $2.05 TWICE, $3,000 @ $2.05, $2,857 @ $2.05, $2,000 @ $2.05 TWICE, $1,700 @ $2.05, $1,500 @ $2.05 TWICE, $5,000 @ $1.95

BETS: Dreamforce $2,000 x $3,000 e/w @ $6.50/$1.90

The champ went around with 95 percent of market on her back in The Star Apollo Stakes (1400 metres).

Winx had a dominant hold in the market and attracted the most bets over $200,000 that she ever has (three).

Settling fifth in the run, jockey Hugh Bowman came wide on the home turn and she hit top gear midway down the straight to cruise to her 30th straight win.

Happy Clapper ($11), which sat outside the leader, was a clear second while Egg Tart ($51) was third.

BETS: Winx $219,000 @ $1.10, $150,000 @ $1.10, $225,000 @ $1.09, $250,000 @ $1.08

BETS: Winx (less than six figures) $66,666 @ $1.12, $55,125 @ $1.12, $50,990 @ $1.12, $50,000 @ $1.10, $38,139 @ $1.10, $16,000 @ $1.10, $15,100 @ $1.10, $13,321 @ $1.10, $11,910 @ $1.10, $10,000 @ $1.10 MULTIPLE TIMES, $40,000 @ $1.08

Nakeeta Jane ($11) chased hard all the way up the straight to grab victory in the TAB Light Fingers Stakes (1200 metres).

Trained by Mark Newnham, Nakeeta Jane sat close to the speed but the leaders kicked away at the top of the straight. The daughter of So You Think kept grinding away and eventually outstayed the opposition, grabbing Madam Rouge ($16) in the shadows of the post under the urgings of Josh Parr.

Pohutukawa ($21) found the line nicely from the back of the field to grab third.

Favourite backers weren’t in the hunt with the heavily tried Sylvia’s Mother ($3.50-$3.10 fav) and Miss Fabulass ($2.70-$3.70) out of the money despite holding 60 percent of the total investment.

BETS: Nakeeta Jane $500 @ $13, $500 @ $12, $800 @ $11, $500 @ $10 TWICE

BETS: Madam Rouge $5,000 @ $17

BETS: Miss Fabulass $4,000 @ $3.80, $2,000 @ $3.80, $2,000 @ $3.70, $5,000 @ $3.40

Alassio undid the strong betting move for Manicure in the Robrick Lodge Triscay (1200 metres).

The Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott runner stalked the leader All Over Bosanova before switching around the heels of that horse on straightening. Overpowering the leader, Alassio ($8.50-$11) hit the lead and then held off the well-tried Manicure ($5.50-$4) in a great finish.

I Am Excited ($5.50-$7), easily the most popular runner, ran on well for third.

Penske was kept solid in the market, and for good reason too, as evident by his tough win in the Chinese Festival Of Racing Handicap (1600 metres).

The gelding had to do all the work outside the leader Almost Court but despite that, he powered away down the straight to give Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott a winning double on the card. TAB had opened Penske at $4.60 in the morning and it pretty much stayed that way other than getting to $4.80, very briefly, at one point in the afternoon.

Nicochet had good specking and was $14-$8.50 and ran right up to the support in finishing second while Harmattan ($5.50) wound up third.

Girl Tuesday once again attracted some pretty big investments and was easily the best tried runner in the race, going around with nearly twice as much as Penske.

BETS: Girl Tuesday $3,876 @ $4.80, $5,000 @ $3.70

Pure Scot saluted at double figure odds in the opening event on the card.

Going around as a $12 chance, Craig Williams drove through the leading pack in the closing stages to take the prize over Hussy’s Glow ($26) and Jester Halo ($8.50-$12) in a big upset.

Most of the money was with Remember The Name ($4) and Mountain Breath ($4.40-$5) with the pair commanding 70 percent of the market.

BETS: Remember The Name $5,000 @ $4

BETS: Amortentia $5,000 e/w @ $11/$3

Shabau defied the betting drift to land the cash in the Lawn Handicap (2000 metres).

The ex-German galloper was the first horse backed earlier in the week when $3.40 was available, however, today he opened a $1.85 favourite. By the time the race rolled around though he started $2.30 after good support for Hang Man ($4.80-$3.50).

Mark Zahra had the gelding in the firing line throughout and fought off all challengers down the Flemington straight to beat Looks Like Elvis ($14) and Prince Ziggy ($11). Hang Man only plodded in the straight after enjoying a comfortable run throughout.

BETS: Shabau $10,000 @ $2.30, $3,500 @ $2.25

BETS: Hang Man $2,780 @ $3.60

Godolphin runner Intuition carried solid eachway investment in the Singapore Turf Club Trophy (1200 metres).

The James Cummings runner was the fourth most popular runner in terms of money taken but was overshadowed in that category by Order Of Command ($3.90), which was responsible for just under half the market.

James McDonald got the best out of the Street Cry gelding which beat the drifting Mystyko ($4.60-$6.50) and the leader, Sam’s Image ($11-$14).

Of the others, Bord De Gain ($11-$7.50) had admirers throughout the day and finished in a photo for third while Order Of Command was always well back and never featured.

BETS: Intuition $1,000 @ $8, $1,000 e/w @ $7.50/$2.60

BETS: Mystyko $3,000 @ $6.50

Microphone delivered a hammer blow to TAB after racing away to win the Talindert Stakes (1100 metres).

Once again it was Cummings and McDonald which combined with the impressive two-year-old which hit the front in plenty of time and raced clear to score comfortably. It gave the duo a running double having scored with Intuition the race prior.

Microphone opened at $3.40 and despite holding approximately 45 percent of the total investment, drifted as TAB took a stand against it. It jumped a $4 favourite.

Talented ($13-$5) nearly landed a huge betting move after being double figures in the morning. It wound up second in front of Charleise ($26) while Excess Funds was a distant fourth.

BETS: Microphone $5,000 @ $3.90, $2,500 @ $3.90, $2,000 @ $3.90, $3,000 @ $3.60,

BETS: Excess Funds $5,000 e/w @ $41/$10

Amphitrite ($3.60) went around as the most popular runner in The TAB Vanity (1400 metres) and landed some nice bets.

Now in the hands of Hayes, Hayes & Dabernig, Amphitrite was given a cushy run just off the speed before finding clear running. Craig Williams then let the daughter of Sebring go midway down the straight and she did the rest, powering away to beat the fast-finishing Verry Elleegant ($7.50) and Fundamentalist ($3.20). The win meant Williams had a double having scored with Pure Scot in race one.

Amphitrite ($3.40-$3.60) was responsible for 38 percent of the total investment and opened favourite on Wednesday at $3.80, however, lost her spot at the top of the market to Fundamentalist ($4-$3.20).

BETS: Amphitrite $2,005 x $1,000 e/w @ $3.70/$1.55, $2,000 @ $3.70 TWICE, $5,000 @ $3.30, $2,000 e/w @ $3.30/$1.50

Thunder Cloud was a popular result with TAB customers in The Hong Kong Jockey Club Trophy (1600 metres).

Despite going around as a $9 chance, Thunder Cloud was the third most popular runner in the race behind Heptagon ($4) and Antah ($5) after opening at $17 on Wednesday.

Ridden a treat by Craig Williams, Thunder Cloud finished too well for Antah which hit the front inside the 300m but couldn’t fight off Thunder Cloud which fought back to score.

Mr Money Bags ($4.40) filled third with the win of the Maher & Eustace runner giving Williams a winning treble.

Tasmanian galloper The Inevitable mowed down leader Age Of Chivalry to claim the CS Hayes Stakes (1400 metres).

The Inevitable ($11-$16-$12) had been tried at eachway odds and got the result over Age Of Chivalry ($6-$9) in a great finish, while O’Tauto ($11) rounded out the trifecta.

Adana ($4.20) went around as the most popular runner in front of Extra Brut while Ranier ($10) and Performer ($8-$13) also had their share of admirers.

BETS: The Inevitable $500 @ $16, $1,700 x $200 e/w @ $12/$3.80, $1,000 @ $12, $750 @ $10, $500 e/w @ $12/$3.70

In Her Time was too good in the Group One Black Caviar Lightning Stakes (1000 metres) at Flemington.

The mare powered to the front inside the 300 metre mark after getting past leader and favourite Sunlight, before holding off the fast-finishing Osborne Bulls ($6.50-$8) to capture the feature.

In Her Time was as much as $7 on Wednesday and started a $4.40 chance.

Sunlight ($4-$3.30 fav), which finished third, was favourite all the way through betting and was easily the most popular runner in terms of money held. The Coolmore Stud winner held nearly twice as much as Osborne Bulls with In Her Time the third most popular runner.

BETS: In Her Time $2,000 @ $5, $1,500 @ $4.80, $1,000 @ $4.80, $2,000 @ $4.60, $1,000 e/w @ $4.60/$1.80, $1,000 @ $4.60 MULTIPLE TIMES

BETS: Osborne Bulls $2,000 @ $8.50, $1,000 @ $8.50, $1,000 @ $8 MULTIPLE TIMES, $2,000 @ $7, $2,000 @ $6.50, $1,000 @ $6 MULTIPLE TIMES

BETS: Sunlight $2,000 @ $3.30, $1,000 @ $3.30 MULTIPLE TIMES, $10,000 @ $3.20, $4,000 @ $3.20, $2,000 @ $3.10

BETS: Divine Quality $2,000 e/w @ $26/$6

BETS: Jedastar $1,000 @ $18

Streets Of Avalon landed some nice bets when it was too good in the Japan Racing Association Trophy (1400 metres).

The gelding hovered around the $6.50-$7.50 mark throughout betting before jumping at the latter price. Ridden patiently by Zac Spain, Streets Of Avalon issued his challenge midway down the straight and overhauled Theanswermyfriend ($7.50) to get the cash.

Widgee Turf, always popular with TAB customers, flashed home down the outside of the track to finish third at $7.

Seaburge ($13-$6.50-$8) was the most notable mover in the final event and attracted several big bets.

BETS: Streets Of Avalon $4,000 @ $7.50

BETS: Seaburge $9,500 @ $6.50
