Punters have rallied behind Oregon's Day at Flemington
Classy mare Oregon’s Day has been the subject of good support with Sportsbet.com.au to take out the feature race for the mares this Saturday at Flemington, the Frances Tressady Stakes (1400m).
The Mick Price trained Group One performer is resuming after a somewhat frustrating Spring, which was plagued by wide barriers and bad luck. Looks to have trialed well and has drawn a decent gate. Opened the $4.40 equal second pick and is now the clear favourite after firming to $3.80.
The opening favourite was Flippant, who is on the seven day back, but she has no friends ($4.20 – $4.60), likewise with Harlow Gold ($4.40 – $4.80), who is first up for the Hayes/Dabernig team.
