Punters plunge on one in the Port Lincoln Cup

Morty heads the Ladbrokes.com.au market for the feature race at Port Lincoln this afternoon, the Port Lincoln Cup (1960m).

Trainer Shayne Cahill has had success in the race previously and looks to have a strong chance in the shame of Morty, who was very good first up. $5.50 was the opening price and he’s been crunched, into $3.40.

Splash Some Cash is in a point from $6.50 to sit on the second line of betting, clear of Midnight Brawler, who opened the $4.80 favourite but has been quite easy.
