Nature Strip is now the clear favourite to win The Everest
Punters are honing in on the two Chris Waller runners for the TAB Everest (1200m) this afternoon at Randwick.
Nature Strip was sensationally backed late on Thursday and throughout Friday. He is now the clear favourite at $3.70, in from $4.20, taking over from Classique Legend, who is now a $5.00 chance, but yesterday one Sportsbet punter put $50,000 on the grey to defend his title.
The other Waller runner is three year old Home Affairs, and with the stable, plus three year olds having a good record in the race, he’s been backed at odds, into $11 from $13.
