Off the back of two impressive runs this time in, and a jump out last Friday, Del Prado has been the best backed runner to take out one of the feature races at Moonee Valley this Saturday, the VOBIS Gold Star (1514m).
The Team Corstens runner ran over 1400m at Flemington on New Years Day and worked home strongly late to run second to Underestimation. He then had a jump out seven days later and looked outstanding, so it’s no surprise to see him into $2.80 from $3.
Favourite for the race is the very consistent Burning Front, who hasn’t budged from his opening price of $2.70, nor has stablemate Profit Share at $3.50.
