Ladbrokes have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.
Eagle Farm Race Two Number 2 Blaze A Trail ($13):
Blaze A Trail can win this. Maher/Eustace trained gelding that resumed in The Archer, a tough assignment, and on face value, he was on the plain side behind Alpine Edge, but given he was wide and the track was playing up/in, his effort was a beauty to be beaten just over two lengths. Tick over trial at Rockhampton was very sharp, he’s a dry track horse, upside…he only runs well.
Eagle Farm Race Four Number 8 Berdibek ($18):
I think there is a good roughie here in the shape of 8 Berdibek. John O’Shea trained gelding that has had two runs back from a spell, and each time he has drawn the carpark, snagged back to last and made up headway without threatening. Now he gets Ben Melham, gate one, can settle much closer…I think he will only run well and is the best each way gamble across Australia for Saturday.
Sandown Race Seven Number 15 Danaustar ($14):
Danaustar should land on the bunny and prove hard to run down for boom WA apprentice Luke Campbell. I am a big fan of this kid and he is an apprentice that is more than happy to roll on speed on a horse, which is perfect for this horse. He was a dominant winner at Terang two back before going to the Warrnambool Carnival where he attempted to lead throughout but just struggled late on the bog when third to Secret Plan. Back on firmer footing, gets control on speed, hard to run down.
Sandown Race Nine Number 3 Not Usual Glorious ($20):
It’s going to take a tough nut to get past Not Usual Glorious and he seems an each way safe play in the get out. He has been freshened up since the Warrnambool Cup where he attempted to lead throughout and gave a very strong kick but was run down late by Rolls. I reckon that trip was a bridge too far so back to 1800m, a soft lead on the cards, he’ll take running down.
