Over The Odds 19/4/2025 – Saturday’s Horse Racing Value Tips and Bets

Ladbrokes have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting. Hopefully we can continue on from last Saturday after finding Zanthron at $17.

Randwick Race Nine Number 1 Jedibeel ($7.50):

Jedibeel is the one each way for me here. He has come through The Galaxy and TJ Smith his past two where he has been outclassed but far from disgraced each time, notably the TJ. This looks more his level and despite the wide gate, I think he’s the each way play.

Randwick Race Ten Number 6 Punch Lane ($17):

Punch Lane each way for me in the get out. Team Freedman trained gelding that resumed in the Star Kingdom where he was dragged back from the wide gate and did make up headway but was never really a winning threat. Fitter and up in trip, can be ridden with more intent, he appeals.

Oakbank Race Six Number 7 Dual Fuel ($10):

Dual Fuel steps back up in trip for Peter Hardacre after placing over 1950m behind Sir Kingsford a fortnight back at Morphettville Parks, saving ground nearer the inside and drove hard late, closing with purpose. The rise back up in trip suits and strikes a winnable race.

Oakbank Race Eight Number 7 Metro Legend ($34):

Metro Legend looks to be humming for Bain/Taylor and is a knockout hope. He resumes, having not raced since Jan 18 at Murray Bridge when placing behind Hallstatt. He rises big time in grade/depth here but his trial/jumpout work has been quite sharp and his best is good enough to threaten.
