In form galloper crunched in the Toorak Handicap

Junipal and Buffalo River are vying for favouritism in the final Group l race at Caulfield this afternoon, the Toorak Handicap (1600m).

Junipal has been a different horse since being gelded and comes into this in red hot form, hence why he’s been $5 to $4.40, sitting alongside Buffalo River, who was strong first up behind Windstorm. He opened $3.70, which was perhaps on the short side.

I Am Superman and Superstorm are rock solid at $9.50, with the latter being supported from $12, backing up from a solid enough effort last Saturday in the Turnbull.
