RANDWICK
RACE ONE
Laure Me In was one of the better tried runners heading into the Cleanaway Handicap (1600 metres).
The David Pfieffer-trained runner was $8 out to as much as $8.50 but strong eachway support in the morning saw him start a $7.50 chance.
James McDonald had to get everything out of the gelding to overhaul Matowi ($10-$9.50) which had headed it in the dying stages of the race.
The favoured runners, headed by Discharged ($2.70-$3.40) could only manage third while the big mover in Betcha Flying ($9.50-$5.50-$4.20) did too much work and faded slightly in the straight to finish fifth.
BETS: Betcha $5,000 @ $4.20, $1,000 @ $4.20 MULTIPLE TIMES
BETS: Discharged $2,500 @ $3.40
RACE TWO
One of the most anticipated races all day was the Keeneland Gimcrack Stakes (1000 metres).
TAB punters were very quick to jump on Enthaar earlier in the week when $1.90 was available after markets first opened.
She was crunched throughout the week and again today where she bottomed out at $1.55 before starting a very popular $1.60 favourite.
Despite a wide trip, she gave a tremendous kick when asked by James McDonald to land countless big bets and multis.
Enthaar was 10 times as popular as anything else in the race.
RACE THREE
James McDonald made it three wins in a row to start the day at Randwick after leading throughout on Shaquero in the Arrowfield Breeders’ Plate (1000 metres).
Pretty steady at the $5.50 for most of the afternoon, Shaquero led from the start to race away and score impressively.
The big money horses were Kalashnikov ($2.40-$3.60), which drifted late, and Construct ($5-$4.20) with the pair holding over half the market between them.
Of the others, there were moves for Astrologer $14-$9) and Athelric ($14-$10).
BETS: Shaquero $2,000 @ $5.50
BETS: Kalashnikov $1,000 @ $3.60 MULTIPLE TIMES, $5,000 @ $3.50, $1,000 x $2,000 e/w @ $3.20/$1.50, $2,000 @ $3

BETS: Astrologer $1,000 @ $10
BETS: Construct $7,000 @ $4
RACE FOUR
Kolding was the big firmer in the Quincy Seltzer Hill Stakes (2000 metres).
Opening at $4.20 this morning, he was backed into $3.50 and was the best supported runner outside Fierce Impact ($2.25-$2.15-$2.35).
Those two were clearly the most popular runners in front of Avilius ($4.80-$6).
Fierce Impact was responsible for 43 percent of the market.
BETS: Kolding $6,000 @ $3.50, $2,000 @ $3.50, $1,000 @ $3.50 MULTIPLE TIMES
BETS: Fierce Impact $5,000 @ $2.30, $3,800 @ $2.30, $3,000 @ $2.30, $2,000 @ $2.30, $1,700 @ $2.30, $1,000 @ $2.30 MULTIPLE TIMES
RACE FIVE
Most of the money sat with Hungry Heart in the Darley Flight Stakes (1600 metres).
The daughter of Frankel was responsible for 55 percent of the total investment and was nearly twice as popular as the second pick in the market, Dame Giselle ($2.70).
Hungry Heart looked set to land huge bets and a number of multis until Montefilia ($8.50-$12) came right over the top to score. The David Payne runner held less than 10 percent of what the favourite did.
BETS: Hungry Heart $12,000 @ $1.95, $40,650 @ $1.90, $10,000 @ $1.90, $5,000 @ $1.90, $2,750 @ $1.90, $2,400 @ $1.90, $2,000 @ $1.90 MULTIPLE TIMES
BETS: Dame Giselle $5,000 @ $2.70, $4,500 @ $2.70
RACE SIX
In a huge upset, Libertini knocked out the two shorties and many Quaddie players with a brilliant win in the Bisley Workwear Premiere Stakes (1200 metres).
Most of the money was riding on Nature Strip and Classique Legend held a whopping 85 percent of the total investment and were two of the most popular horses all day.
Unfortunately for their backers, it was Libertini ($12-$11-$13) which finished best off a good run for Regan Bayliss and trainer Anthony Cummings.
In the end, Nature Strip drifted in the final 10 minutes of betting and went from $1.75 out to $2.15, clinging on to favouritism from Classique Legend ($3.20-$2.40) which attracted a number of big bets late.
BETS: Classique Legend $5,000 @ $2.70, $15,000 @ $2.60, $2,000 @ $2.60, $4,000 @ $2.40

RACE SEVEN
In a great betting race, Probabeel attracted some very late support in the TAB Epsom (1600 metres) and ran right up to that support.
Probabeel ($6-$7) was pretty solid throughout the afternoon and in terms of popularity, was third best tried behind Star Of The Seas ($5) and Rock ($7-$5.50-$6).
Funstar ($10) was next best supported and then it was a gap back to Vanna Girl ($17-$11-$12).
Of the others, Riodini ($19-$16) had good backing throughout the afternoon at a price while Imaging ($13-$15) had admirers also.
Star Of The Seas and Rock held 38 percent of the total investment on the race.

RACE EIGHT
Mirage Dancer caused an upset in the Heineken Metropolitan (2400 metres) despite being one of the few firmers in the race.
TAB had him at $17 earlier in the week and $12 was still available for most of the day, however, some very late support and a few big bets saw him jump a $10 chance.
Finishing best under Nash Rawiller, Mirage Dancer landed the Group One for the Busuttin & Young barn.
His win was at the detriment to the heavily tried favourite, Mugatoo ($3).
The Kris Lees galloper was the most popular horse all day and went around with more than half the money on the race invested since Tuesday’s barrier draw.
Hush Writer ($5.50), $11 on Tuesday, was best tried outside the fav along with Zebrowski ($5.50-$7).
BETS: Mirage Dancer $6,000 x $1,000 e/w @ $11/$3.30

RACE NINE
Favourite backers were delighted to see Athiri get the job done in the Cerrone Handicap (1200 metres).
TAB customers backed the Godolphin filly in from $2.80-$2.50 but savvy punters were able to secure as much as $3.60 earlier in the week.
Hilo, stablemate to the winner, had plenty riding on it too but went $3.10-$3.40-$3.30 after the support for Athiri.
Between the two Royal Blue runners they were responsible for over 60 percent of the total investment.
BETS: Athiri $10,000 @ $2.60, $2,500 @ $2.60, $2,000 @ $2.60 MULTIPLE TIMES
BETS: Burning Crown $4,000 x $1,000 e/w @ $8.50/$2.20, $3,500 @ $8.50, $2,000 @ $8.50

FLEMINGTON
RACE ONE
Favourite backers got off on the wrong note at Flemington when General Beau was a costly proposition in the Darley Maribyrnong Trial (1000 metres).
General Beau was crunched from a price of $2.10 in the morning to start a dominant $1.50 favourite, holding nearly five times as much as anything else in the race. Overall, he was responsible for 66 percent of the total investment.
Ingratiating was largely ignored by punters and went $9-$12 although did attract a few decent bets at the double figures late in betting.
BETS: Ingratiating $1,000 e/w @ $12/$2.30, $8,000 e/w @ $11/$2.30
BETS: General Beau $10,000 @ $1.55, $2,000 @ $1.55
RACE TWO
September Run was one of the best backed runners all day and did the right thing by her backers in the Seppelt Wines Poseidon Stakes (1100 metres).
The Chris Waller runner was $2.50 into as low as $2.10 at one stage early in the afternoon, before a late drift saw it get back out to $2.40.
Unleashing a big finishing sprint under Craig Williams, the pair came from last and landed a number of big bets and multis. September Run held more than half the investment on the race and was more than three times as popular as the next pick in the market, Minhaaj ($4.60-$5.50).

Riddle Me That had good specking overnight and into today and landed the money in the Paris Lane Stakes (1400 metres).
For most of the week double figures were being offered for the Matt Laurie runner with TAB going up $15 on Wednesday. Today, he was $8.50 in the morning but got back out to his opening price.
Begood Toya Mother ($4.80-$6.50) was a drifter despite going around with the most money while Munitions ($6.50) had plenty of admirers as did Fascino ($6) and Legionnaire ($8).
BETS: Munitions $1,000 @ $6.50, $1,000 @ $6
BETS: Legionnaire $1,500 x $2,500 e/w @ $8/$2.50, $1,000 @ $8 MULTIPLE TIMES

BETS: Begood Toya Mother $2,500 e/w @ $5/$2
RACE FOUR
A fair bit of interest late in the Gilgai Stakes (1200 metres) came for Zoutori which finished best to land some handy bets.
The Matt Ellerton & Simon Zahra-trained gelding was $5-$4.80 at one stage during the day before getting back out to $5.50 at the jump. Although popular, Zoutori was overshadowed in the holds by Tofane ($2.80-$3.30) which blew in the final 10 minutes of betting. Santa Ana Lane ($4.40-$5.50) was best tried outside the fav while Dollar For Dollar ($12-$7) ran right up to the support for him and nearly landed a nice betting move.

RACE FIVE
Punters were more than happy to be on Thermosphere at the price in the TAB Edward Manifold Stakes (1600 metres).
TAB went up $4.60 in the morning which was too good to refuse for a number of customers. Such was the weight of support throughout the day, she was bottomed out at $3.30 before starting a dominant $3.60 favourite.
Sitting wide the trip didn’t seem to bother the Godolphin filly, with Damian Lane getting the best out of her to beat Starelle ($26) and Chica Fuerta ($13-$8.50) which ran right up to the support for her.
Of the others, Miss Guggenheim ($5-$4.80-$6) held more than anything else outside the winner and was one of the first horses backed on Wednesday when $9 was on the table.
BETS: Thermosphere $10,000 @ $3.60
BETS: Miss Guggenheim $1,000 @ $6 MULTIPLE TIMES, $1,000 @ $4.80

TAB endured a big loss on the race after Verry Elleegant ($5) went around with nearly double the amount of money than any other runner.

Sierra Sue didn’t attract a great deal of support in the Lexus Rose Of Kingston Stakes (1400 metres).
The Trent Busuttin & Natalie Young galloper opened the day at $16 and jumped at that same quote. Despite having some backing at the double figures, the daughter of Darci Brahma was largely ignored by punters.
It was Madam Rouge ($5-$3.90) and Perfect Jewel ($4.40-$3.60) which attracted most of the big money and were strong firmers throughout the day.
They were head and shoulders above the others in terms of money held with Rubisaki ($5-$8.50) next best despite being a drifter. Pretty Brazen ($6-$7) was best of the others.
BETS: Madam Rouge $3,000 @ $4.40, $6,000 x $6,500 e/w @ $3.80/$1.65

RACE NINE
Favourite backers were hoping Young Werther could get them out of strife at the end of the Flemington card.
The Danny O’brien-trained runner was a heavily tried favourite in the Kirkland Lake Gold Super Impose Stakes (1800 metres), going around as one of the best tried runners not only at Flemington but across the country.
Young Werther ($3.90-$2.70) was crunched and held more than five times the amount of money than anything else in the race.
The winner, Khoekhoe ($10-$5.50) was one of few movers tried to beat the fav as was Alcyone ($7.50-$5).
