Chalk Stream is the Ladbrokes.com.au favourite for the Chairmans Quality (2600m) at Randwick on Saturday, the final lead up towards the Sydney Cup next Saturday.
The former UK galloper, owned by the Queen, is seemingly getting better with racing and was good in defeat in the Queens Cup. He heads the market at $3.90.
Zeyrek, who had his chance as favourite in the Queens Cup, is at $6.50 on the second line of betting, clear of Stockman at $8, backing up from the Tancred on Monday.
