Thursday Results: $100 Loss
Last 10 Days: LLLLWLWWLL
Overall Results (Since June 7): $4077 Profit
Bet One- Win- Muswellbrook Race Three Number 3 Brigid Of Kildare:
I like her here. Matty Smith trains this well named mare, who debuted on a bog at Kembla a tick under two weeks back where she was three and four wide throughout before coming to the outside fence in the straight. She took a while to get going but was good late and probably wins in another couple of strides. Back to this level, she appeals.
Suggested Bet: $40 Win at $2.5 (BetEasy)
Bet Two- Each Way- Canberra Race Six Number 1 Balonne:
I think he’s going well. Hard to get a real guide on him though because he hasn’t had a clear run in pretty much every start he has had this prep. Total nightmares on a couple of occasions when seemingly having something to offer. If the breaks go his way and he gets clear air, I’m happy to find out what’s under the hood.
Suggested Bet: $20 E/W (Tote)
Bet Three- Each Way – Canberra Race Seven Number 7 Seeblume:
Seeblume is a Joseph Ible trained mare who comes through the Tristan De Angel Highway from a few weeks back where she looked a bit big in condition given it was her first run in seven weeks and that’s how she raced, with her condition just giving way late. Fitter and up to 1400m, she appeals for sure.
Suggested Bet: $20 E/W (Tote)
Bet Four- Win- Canterbury Race Five Number 6 Waruna:
Waruna clearly looks the one. This mare was heavily backed when racing over 1550m at Canterbury a couple of Friday nights back and really, she should have won, but just had no luck at a time when J Mac was looking to get clear air and build the revs. I hope he lets the mare roll along on speed, in the clear. If that happens, she’ll win.
Suggested Bet: $200 Win at $2.3 (BetEasy)
Bet Five- Win- Port Lincoln Race Three Number 1 Neva Doubt Us:
Des Courtney seems to have worked this horse out in that he seems to race best three weeks or so between runs. Ran over the 1390m here last time where he sat last in the run before peeling wide, rounding them up and winning impressively. He’ll be better suited up in trip and with upside, clearly the horse to beat.
Suggested Bet: $40 Win at $2.6 (BetEasy)
Total Spend: $360
