Doomben Cup favourite ruled out with injury

The short priced Doomben Cup favourite Gailo Chop has been ruled out of the race after suffering a tendon injury.

Gailo Chop was the $2.40 favourite for next weekends Group 1 Doomben Cup but after suffering a recurring tendon injury will not line-up in the race and is likely to miss the Winter Carnival.

Unfortunately Gailo Chop has injured tendon and will be assessed for possible rehabilitation. It’s same leg as last time. Naturally there’ll be no Doomben Cup for him.
