The Kiwi drew barrier 10 in the 16 horse field and his price quickly firmed into $2.80 with online bookmaker sportsbet.

“He’s the horse the punters want. We opened him at $3.00 earlier in the week and the support has continued, with some solid interest since the barrier draw,” sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes said.
Honorius has moved onto the second line of betting from $7.00 into $6.00 with Hvasstan, who drew just inside It’s A Dundeel, easing slightly, $6.00 out to $6.50.
Other notable movers include Super Cool ($7.00 into $6.00), Jimando ($17 out to $21) and Our Desert Warrior ($26 into $21).
Fellow Kiwi raider Ocean Park looks set to continue on his winning ways, this time in the Mackinnon Stakes. The Cox Plate winner is the $1.55 favourite to take out another Group 1, in from $1.70 on Tuesday.
Alcopop has also tightened from $6.00 into $5.00 since the draw with December Draw priced at $8.50 and Glass Harmonium easing from $9.00 out to $11.
