3 Lake’s Folly (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing over 2250m on the Parks track. He got into a reasonable spot in transit and did try hard but just couldn’t quite finish the race off and whacked late behind Test The Law. Like him back in trip on the course proper and can certainly win.

7 Petas Heart (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Will Clarken trained mare that ran last Saturday at Murray Bridge and was a real eye catcher I thought from the back, closing with real purpose. Strikes a winnable race, she can win for sure.

5 Dixie Whistler (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a beauty for the Richards/Moyle camp. She was on speed three weeks ago on the Parks track and kept chipping away under pressure but just couldn’t quite get there when a narrow second to Test The Law. Hard fit, tough mare…only runs well.

3 Sav On Ice (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is humming for Darryl Carrison and is the one to beat after three straight wins, the latest being two weeks ago at this track/distance where he lapped up the bog track and made an absolute mess of them by a space. Keen to see how he goes at this level.

2 Brave Star (Bet Now:  $SP.00) commands respect after racing over this track/distance a fortnight back. He lobbed into a decent spot behind the speed and he tried hard but just couldn’t quite finish the race off behind Shoeless. He’s found positive form, good track/distance stats, he appeals.

1 Fine Future (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an improver for Stephen Theodore. He resumed last Saturday over 1400m at Murray Bridge and was good late without threatening behind Fast Bubbles. Good upside to come, he’s one for exotics.

1 Gin Spirit (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks suited at this level and she has a bit on them, all things being equal. She resumed a few weeks ago at Caulfield over 1100m where she seemingly had every chance in transit but was just fair in the run to the line. Back to this level, she takes a power of beating I say.

3 Captain Harry (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a nice horse on the up for Team Oxlade. He won his maiden over 1100m at Murray Bridge, landing on speed and was absolutely trucking before being clicked up by Price and away he went to win quite impressively. Confidence is up, he can go on with it.

8 Miss Tormenta (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes straight to town for Travis Doudle after a debut win last Wednesday at Balaklava when on speed and looked to handle the wet track best, winning well. Good test here, but think she can measure up.

8 Hajra (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a few weeks between runs for Will Clarken since racing down the straight at Flemington when far from disgraced in defeat behind the straight track specialist Losesomewinmore. Back home, she’ll be strong late and can bounce back.

1 Beast Mode (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a short course specialist for Team Hayes that is suited back to this level after racing down the straight three weeks ago and tried hard but just lacked the finale behind Losesomewinmore. That form reads well, clearly.

9 Kova (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a threat after his effort omn Mildura Cup Day behind Dyer. He was wide no cover on speed and that hard run just told late, but he was far from disgraced. Maps better, right down in the weights, dangerous.

6 Hot Strut (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a beauty, very genuine and should be around the mark. She ran over 1200m here two weeks ago when on speed throughout and tried hard but had no answers late for From The Block. Good racing style, she takes beating against these.

2 Tupoleu (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through a race from five weeks back at Gawler. He ran over 1500m and was keen on speed. He tried hard but just felt the pinch late in the piece behind Motorace. Good record at Murray Bridge, he is capable of taking this out.

5 France’s Boy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a beauty for the Hickmott/Riggs camp after a win last Wednesday at Balaklava, win number 20 in a 150 start career. He was there to be beaten but found to fend them off and score. Not sure he can win at this level but can pinch a first four spot.

4 King Of Wessex (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is worth a rhrow at the stumps. He resumed three weeks ago at Morphettville Parks where he got back to near last from the wide gate and was never a factor when last behind Willybeafactor. But, he’s fitter, he has a kind map in his corner and can take this out.

1 Proven Correct (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the seven day back up after racing over 1400m last Saturday at Murray Bridge. He got a suck run on the fence worse than midfield and tried hard but couldn’t quite get there when fourth to Liselle’s Luck. Good track/distance record, he appeals.

5 Tropical House (Bet Now:  $SP.00) can bounce back on firmer footing. She ran two weeks back at Morphettville where I was quite keen on her chances but the track was too wet and the wheels were spinning when asked. Firmer deck, prior efforts were strong, she appeals.

1 Queman (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Group l winner for Team Oxlade that resumes. He hasn’t raced since the Irwin in 2024 here when a bit on the plain side behind Benedetta. He has clearly had his issues but has been given a good break and his trial work has been strong, so watch betting.

8 Sixteen Reasons (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate getting to 1200m. Big win fresh at Caulfield before going to 1050m here two weeks ago. Not sure she was 100% happy on the bog but she picked up late and was quite good late in the piece. Up to 1200m should be fine, she’ll be strong late…she can win.

6 Wild Imagination (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an improver for David Page. He was near a fast speed when resuming in the Mildura Cup and just felt the pinch late but he has trialled well since and could pinch a first four spot.

16 Rocktagon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through the Solar Mist race from two weeks ago. He got into a decent spot in transit and tried hard but on the bottomless deck, he couldn’t pick his feet up. Better suited here, he appeals.

1 Richie D’Amour (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Roslyn Day. Big win last Saturday at Murray Bridge I thought, the way he gave them a start and a beating, producing a brilliant finale to score. Hard to beat once again.

12 High On Sugar (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was down the track two weeks back here behind From The Block. He got too far out of his ground and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up headway and wasn’t too bad in defeat. He can win…but gee he is becoming frustrating.

2 The Carrillo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top in the get out. Chris Calthorpe trained gelding that resumes and the intent looks clear after a sharp jumpout win at Geelong and is a shirt course type. He’ll do me.

7 Purrfect Line (Bet Now:  $SP.00) appreciated a strong tempo here a fortnight back, as well as wet conditions, and drove hard late, but just found one better in Solar Mist. Racing well and does seem to strike a winnable race.

1 Bristler (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a few weeks between runs after racing on the Parks track when wide no cover on speed and that early burn just told on him late in the piece behind Super Alana. Better run in transit, his best is clearly good enough to take this out.
