2 Mareth (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the debut, which came a few weeks ago at Pakenham when back to near last in the run but worked home with real purpose late in the piece when second to Biologics. Fitter, can settle closer, be within range and launch late.

4 Seven Oceans (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a very interesting runner. She has had a few homes throughout her career but is now with Mark Walker. She is on debut off the back of extensive jumpout work, three jumpouts this time in, and each time has looked strong, so watch betting.

8 Wild Roses Grow (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a daughter of Hanseatic that is on debut for Jason Warren. This girl had three runs during the Summer where she was okay without jumping up and down. Looked pretty good in a recent jumpout win at Balnarring, watch betting and see what it does.

1 Everain (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks hard to beat for Team Freedman. He is first up after his debut at Ballarat in November when off speed and seemed to have his chance but he stuck on well and was beaten by a nice horse, Somewhere. Given a good break and his jumpout work has been more than encouraging.

15 Winter Hail (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a couple of weeks between runs since debuting over 1100m at Seymour where she attempted to lead throughout and gave a strong kick from the front but just couldn’t quite see it through, run down late. 1200m should be fine and with a good racing style, she appeals.

4 Welcometodetroit (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the debut run, which came over this trip at Cranbourne when off speed and although she took a little while to wind into his work, he was good late in the piece. The draw is tricky, but he looks to have talent.

5 Transactions (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1000m for Team Freedman after racing over 1125m at Geelong when near the speed and he loomed to win but just couldn’t quite see it through when a narrow second. Back to 1000m, more positive ride, he’ll take beating.

2 Regal Secret (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Phillip Stokes trained filly that resumes. She is first up, having not raced since Feb 5 at Sandown when leading and she gave a strong kick from the front but couldn’t quite see it through when fourth to Written Bligh.

4 Behaviour (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1000m after a maiden win over 1200m at Cranbourne where he made a sustained run from off speed and finished best to win impressively I thought given the sustained run he made. Good test here, but think he can measure up.

6 Jungle Sensation (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is worth a throw at the stumps each way in what looks an open contest. She has had two runs back from a spell, both over 1000m at Cranbourne where each time she has got back off speed and kept chasing with purpose. Hard fit, can settle closer in the run and be effective late.

8 Egerton (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is 2/2 this time in and has to be respected. Both those wins have come over 1000m at Pakenham where each time she has been impressive from off speed, knuckling down with purpose to win each time. Good test here, but think she measures up.

3 Bella Cinque (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is suited back to this level after resuming over this trip at Sandown where it was a race dominated on speed and given she was back in the run, she was never really a factor. If she gets luck from the gate, she can win.

You can make a case that 1 Dazzling Lucy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) fights the finish out two weeks ago at Sandown. She didn’t get the clearest of paths in the straight but when eventually clear, she was good to the line behind Harry Got Styles. Like her up to 1200m and she has home track advantage.

3 Keep You Cool (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Ciaron Maher trained mare that resumes. She is first up, having not raced since Jan 11 at Flemington over the mile when far from disgraced in defeat behind Smokin Princess. She can sprint well fresh and has trialled nicely so watch betting.

9 Tango Jewel (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1200m after racing over 1300m at Sandown last time when on speed throughout and tried hard but just felt the pinch late in the piece behind Empressive Enuff. I think with a bunny to chase, she’ll be more effective.

6 Bold Response (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will jump on the bunny and give his all, though he was ridden with a sit over 1200m at Cranbourne last time and kept finding the line in defeat when second to Highland Harley. I think from the wide gate, he’ll bounce out, land on speed and take beating.

4 La Fracas (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Night Of Thunder gelding that resumes for Price/Kent. This guy is first up, having not raced since Jan 29 at Sandown over the mile when back and making up minor headway behid Enxuto. Given a good break, jumped out well, watch betting.

12 Ataegina (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Luke Oliver trained mare that resumes. She is first up, having not raced since Nov 29 over 1590m at Wodonga when off speed and kept chasing with purpose but had her chance when second to a handy galloper, Star Buyer. 1200m is on the short side but she’ll do no work and be strong late.

2 Mathew (Bet Now:  $SP.00) takes beating for Team Payne after racing over 1800m at Flemington a few weeks ago. He got into a good spot off the speed and kept chasing in the straight but had no answers for the finale of Liberami. Fitter and up to 2000m, he is one of the hardest to beat.

10 Catani Gardens (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is progressive and heading in the right direction for Team Freedman. Thought there was a bit of quality about his win at Ballarat first up, leading throughout and he was quite strong to the line in winning. Good racing style, good upside, rates highly.

7 Dashwood (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an improver up in trip for Cindy Alderson. He resumed over 1800m at Sandown where he got a fair way out of his ground and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up headway and wasn’t too bad in defeat. Gets in well after the claim, does no work from the inside gate…first four threat.

8 Blazing Rebel (Bet Now:  $SP.00) for me in the get out. He resumed over this trip at Cranbourne where he got back in the run and spotted those in front a start and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up ground and was quite good in defeat. Maps to settle much closer in the run and be effective late.

11 Dark Simba (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a key threat. Team Hayes trained three year old that I thought was a strong winner at Sale last time. I say strong because he was near a decent tempo and was entitled to knock up but he found under pressure to fend them off and score. He’s short enough but he looks progressive.

3 Peel The Stickers (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is dangerous with his best. He ran over 1500m at Sandown last time where he got off speed and kept chasing with purpose in the straight but had his chance behind Surprise Coming. Like him up in trip and he strikes a winnable race.

LONG SHOT: Race Seven Number 2 Mathew
