Back Me: 1 Hit Tune (Best Odds: $4.00) debuted over 1200m at Ascot a couple of weeks back and stuck to the task pretty well when running second to the above average Dainty Tess. Just has to overcome the wide draw to be the likely winner.
Big Danger: 2 Hoboken (Best Odds: $16.00) ran sixth in that Dainty Tess race and he just looked to do a bit too much on speed. He is better than that and could be an improver with a more conservative ride.
Roughie: 3 Code Violation (Best Odds: $51.00) debuts here for the Fernie yard off the back of a very impressive trial win on his home track at Kalgoorlie. Could have found an easy kill there, but instead debuts in town.

Race Two (14:53) : Belmont Bonanza Handicap (1MW) 2100m:
Back Me: 1 Caralabek (Best Odds: $3.80) ran over 1800m at Ascot a couple of weeks back and closed off well when running second to Ripper Rio. Looks well placed here and should take some beating.
Big Danger: 10 My Magic Miss (Best Odds: $9.00) ran over 2000m at Bunbury last time out and toughed it out quite nicely I thought. Steps up to city grade, but gets weight relief and will be strong late.
Roughie: 6 Proxy (Best Odds: $9.00) really toughed it out at the midweeks to win narrowly but impressively. Needs to improve a touch to win, but I think he can in a tough race.

Race Three (15:33) : Subscribe To Perth Racing Newsletter Handicap (72+) 2000m:
Back Me: 1 Outlaw Pete (Best Odds: $4.40) is racing in such fine form at the moment. He closed off well when running second to Paseo Del Prado over 1800m at Ascot. Carries top weight but will do no work and should take some beating.
Big Danger: 9 Star Exhibit (Best Odds: $2.25) ran over 1500m at Ascot last time out and just got too far back behind Corporate Larrikin. Little query at the trip increase, but he has enormous upside and is in the right stable.
Roughie: 8 Preselection (Best Odds: $6.00) is the one on the up after bolting up in the Geraldton Cup last time out, beating home Paseo Del Prado, who franked the form by winning in town. He is tough and will be in it for a long way.

Back Me: 10 Source Of Survival (Best Odds: $12.00) ran over the mile at Ascot two week back and worked home well late behind Headliner Bay. Not as much depth here and looks so well placed.
Big Danger: 3 Chhaya (Best Odds: $17.00) broke through for a well deserved maiden win last time out and did it strongly. He is in the right stable and can certainly go on with it.
Roughie: 7 In The Loop (Best Odds: $81.00) was an impressive first up winner at Albany before going to Bunbury where he worked home well for fourth. There is a bit to like about him and he can definitely threaten.

Back Me: 3 Bombs Away (Best Odds: $3.60) had one run last time in, starting $1.40 at Narrogin and on face value was disappointing in running second. Recent trials have been encouraging and should prove hard to beat.
Big Danger: 5 Juendis (Best Odds: $7.50) ran over 1000m at the midweeks at Ascot and produced a lovely turn of foot to win impressively. Harder here, but like Royalic, is flying form wise and will be a definite contender.

Back Me: 1 Illuminated (Best Odds: $4.60) started odds on in the Narrogin Cup and just couldn’t quite finish it off and had to settle for fifth. Better suited here on the track with more space and is the clear class runner.
Big Danger: 5 Sasso’s Circus (Best Odds: $3.60) has been given a three freshen up since racing over the Ascot mile where he ran a game second to North Ridge. Will eat up the extra trip and the stable is in form.
Roughie: 3 Galaxy’s Son (Best Odds: $16.00) ran over 1500m at the Midweeks at Ascot last time out and produced a lovely finish to win impressively. Should only improve off that and prove tough to hold out late.

Back Me: 1 Chasing Chaos (Best Odds: $5.50) might not have beaten much last time out at Bunbury but gee he did it comfortably and easily. Drawn terribly here, but he has performed well in town before and the claim helps.
Big Danger: 12 Paris Dream (Best Odds: $4.60) is a talented mare that resumes for Grant Williams. Best form is over further, but a recent trial was quite encouraging and she does have a touch of class, so watch the market for moves.
Roughie: 13 Fabulistic (Best Odds: $21.00) ran over 1500m at the Ascot midweeks a couple of weeks back and worked home pretty well when running second to Galaxy Son. Finds it hard to win, but is consistent and is never far away.

Race Eight (18:45) : Perth Racing Instagram Handicap (72+) 1200m:
Back Me: 5 Stocks (Best Odds: $8.00) is a handy galloper for the Casey yard that resumes here. He was very good during the Summer and looks ready to go off the back of a slick trial effort. Hard to beat.
Big Danger: 11 Express Dancer (Best Odds: $9.00) resumed here last Saturday and got warm very late when fifth to in form sprinter Bourne Supremacy. Better suited up in trip here and will take a power of beating.
Roughie: 13 Heavy Set (Best Odds: $16.00) drops back to 1200m after running over 1500m at Ascot a fortnight back behind Corporate Larrikin. He will be strong late and the drop back in trip is certainly not a disadvantage.
