30/5/2026 Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets – Rosehill

Ten races will be run and won at Rosehill this Saturday, headlined by the Lord Mayor’s Cup (2000m). The weather is fine, the track is heavy (9) and the rail is in the true position for the entire circuit.

3 Cormier (Bet Now: $2.70) was a dynamic winner during the Scone Carnival, giving them a start and a beating and let down with real purpose when asked by Bullock. He’s looked a beast since early on in trial work and confirmed it on debut. He can win this and be in with a shout for the JJ Atkins.

1 Tron Bolt (Bet Now: $2.80) looks a nice horse for Chris Waller that spanked them on the Kenso last time, getting better as the race went on to win impressively. Scratched from the BRC Sires for this en route to the JJ Atkins, he’s in the mix.

13 Parisest Magic (Bet Now: $14.00) was the real eye catcher behind I Am Dirty on debut at Gosford. She got a mile out of her ground but loved the way she attacked the line in defeat. If she can build off that, I say she’s right in the mix here as a winning chance.

7 Moon Sweeper (Bet Now: $2.30) should take beating for Matty Dunn after his effort in the Highway at Scone. He landed in a decent spot off speed and worked to the line strongly but had no answers for the finale of Autumn King. Racing well, bursting to win and gets his chance here.

12 Red Rags To Bulls (Bet Now: $6.00) doesn’t have the best of racing styles but will launch late, as seen at Scone when back near last and worked home with real purpose behind Autumn King. If within range, he has the finale to take this out.

17 Ocean Tsunami (Bet Now: $7.50) has an engine under the hood. Enormous run I thought when resuming at Newcastle, getting back to last and made up a stack of ground when second. If she can be within range, she’s got the finale to take this out.

11 Gorgeous (Bet Now: $2.25)…if you were on her in the Denise’s Joy, sorry for bringing it back up. She should have bolted in but just had no luck at any stage, pretty much going around like it was a barrier trial. If she gets room to move, she’ll take holding out.

7 Sir Les (Bet Now: $2.70) looks a nice horse for Craig Carmody. 2/2 to start his career, winning on debut over 1000m at Wyong before repeating the dose over the same trip at Kembla. Good test here but confident he can measure up.

1 Cold Brew (Bet Now: $9.50) is a Team Freedman trained gelding that resumes. He did some nice things when last in work, winning three on the bounce before being spelled, the latest being a Midway win over 1400m here. Likely spots them a start but should be strong late.

1 Sir Dinadan (Bet Now: $6.00) is a great gamble here for mine. Game effort here two back before going to The Coast where he copped a nasty check on the turn and lost all hope. He’ll love rising to 1800m and getting towards peak fitness, he’ll take a power of beating.

7 Sounds Unusual (Bet Now: $7.00) is third up from a spell and should be at peak fitness. He ran over 1700m at Scone two weeks ago when off speed and kept chasing without really threatening behind Tavros, who franked the form via the Gunnedah Cup. Hard fit, 1800m, he appeals.

9 Sacrify (Bet Now: $9.00) was an impressive winner over this trip two back at Hawkesbury before coming back to 1700m at Scone where he just found them a bit sharp but was far from disgraced. Like him back up in trip, he appeals.

15 Ertijaaj (Bet Now: $3.80) is one of the more fascinating runners on the program. Former UK mare that kicked off Australian life in style at Caulfield Heath, giving them a start and a beating in an impressive performance. Loved the way she trialled in Sydney since and I dare say if he was in Sydney, J Mac would be keen to ride.

1 Duvana (Bet Now: $4.50) has good upside and was quite good first up at Scone when off speed and kept chasing and finding the line in defeat when fourth to Lightning Glory. Like him up to 1500m and with a more positive ride, takes beating.

6 Full Hao (Bet Now: $19.00) should be better for the first up run, which came over 1300m at Warwick Farm where she found them a bit sharp early but picked up and was pretty good late I thought. Fitter and up in trip, handles wet ground, she’s dangerous at odds.

2 Man Of Worth (Bet Now: $3.60) comes back to 1500m after racing over 1700m at Scone two weeks ago when wide no cover throughout and the hard run just told late. Better run in transit here, he has a touch of quality to take this out and bounce back hard.

3 Fiddler’s Green (Bet Now: $4.20) is several weeks between runs since racing at Randwick when near the speed and thought he was there to win but just couldn’t quite see it through when close up in defeat behind Nobler. Fresh legs, he is one of the leading contenders I say.

5 Anythink Goes (Bet Now: $27.00) has had two runs back from a spell, both at 1200m, and for mine will love getting to 1500m. He ran three weeks ago at Gosford and was good late without threatening behind Hillier. Hard fit, good upside to come, he’s right in the mix.

I am with 15 Raskol (Bet Now: $12.00). She ran second when resuming at Hawkesbury, settling on speed with 61kg and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there when second. Gets serious weight relief and being by Russian Revolution, she should swim. Each way for me.

12 Big Papa (Bet Now: $2.70) is a Bjorn Baker trained gelding that resumes. He did nice things when last in work, ending the prep with an okay effort behind subsequent Group ll winner Ninja. Looks to have trialled well, he commands respect.

16 Silver Serenade (Bet Now: $51.00) is on the back up for Danny Williams after a win on Sunday at Nowra, finishing best on a testing heavy track to score. Heavy to heavy is ideal, and seven day back up on this sort of track looks a tick as well.

1 Super Norwest (Bet Now: $34.00) was a total forgive I thought from the Wagga Town Plate. Wide no cover for the race, the hard run told on her late in the piece behind Harry’s Bar. Better for the run and with a better run in transit, she’s very dangerous against these.

8 Mother Goose (Bet Now: $6.50) is first up for Gary Portelli and bears watching. She did some nice things when last in work and really established himself as a Saturday class animal, whether it be at Midway level or higher. Looks to have trialled well and has a good racing style.

5 Miss Kim Kar (Bet Now: $9.50) is a Bjorn Baker trained mare that resumes. She is normally better suited over a bit further but looks to have trialled up very well for her return and the stable can get them to fire fresh so I’d say watch betting and see what it does.

The bet here is 12 Glory Daze (Bet Now: $51.00) each way. He’s the best swimmer in the field and you can only assume he’s ready to go because first up at 2000m, the stable wouldn’t run unless he was fit enough for it. Tricky gate, but with a positive ride, he only runs well.

15 Imperialist (Bet Now: $15.00) is flying I think for Chris Waller. He comes through the Scone Cup when off speed and held up at times but was very good late when eventually clear. Getting towards peak fitness and rising to 2000m, he’ll take beating.

18 Caboche (Bet Now: $67.00) is right in the mix for me. He was down the track in the Scone Cup but kept chasing and kept finding the line in a pretty good effort in defeat. Like him up to 2000m, good upside to come, he’s right in the mix.

12 Damien (Bet Now: $9.50) for me in the get out. Kris Lees trained gelding that resumed at Gosford three weeks ago where he didn’t really get the best of luck and was never really a factor behind Hillier. This looks a very winnable race with his best and maps to get a sweet sit in transit.

9 Hay Street (Bet Now: $3.80) is bursting to win for Team Archibald. He tried his guts out at Scone two weeks ago but just couldn’t quite finish the job when second to Wanaruah. He’s knocking on the door to get a win on the board and this looks a race well within reach.

13 Applaud (Bet Now: $5.00) is a Peter Snowden trained gelding that resumes. He lapped up the mud during the Spring when a winner at Kembla on Gong Day. He resumes and looks to have trialled up well enough so watch the market.

NEXT BEST: Race One Number 3 Cormier

LONG SHOT: Race Nine Number 12 Glory Daze
