1 Home Rule (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1200m after racing over 1400m in recent times, the latest seeing him placed after landing on speed. He should lead this field up, be effective late and take running down.

13 Daggers (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Busuttin/Young trained four year old that resumes. He hasn’t raced since May 31 when close up in defeat from off speed behind another progressive four year old, Big Swinger. Jumpout work has been strong and he strikes a winnable race so watch betting.

2 Deekay (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Hellbent that resumes. He is better suited over slog jog further but he will be strong late and looks to have trialled up really well for the return so watch betting and see what it does.

1 Prestar (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks really hard to beat here for Team McEvoy. Thrown in the deep end last start at Rosehill in the Run To The Rose and while held by Tempted, he didn’t disgrace himself in defeat. Back to this level, lands in a plum spot, he’ll take holding out.

2 Duke Atriedes (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back a fair way in grade/depth after racing in the McNeil at Caulfield when outclassed on paper and ran accordingly behind Tycoon Star. He can run a much improved race.

3 Bedourie (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1200m after racing down the straight in the Poseidon when finding the class of race a bit much when down the track. He can run a much improved race against this lot.

2 Unflinching (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks ready to rock and roll for Shawn Mathrick. He is a speed demon that resumes, having not raced since Feb 7 when a sharp winner over 955m at The Valley. He has looked like a rocket in trial/jumpout work, he should lead and take running down.

3 Beast Mode (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is several weeks between runs since racing over 1000m at Morphettville Parks when near the speed and was good in defeat behind Karavas. Has the speed to carve across and be dangerous.

4 Rich Fortune (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Jerome Hunter trained mare that resumes. She hasn’t raced since March 30 down the straight when never really a factor. Given a good break and her jumpout work has been encouraging so watch betting.

1 Vinrock (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have a bit on these. Confidence is back up with him after his Exford Plate triumph where he was ridden like the best horse in the race and duly saluted. Only has to hold his form and wins again.

2 West Of Swindon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran second to Vinrock at Flemington. He got into a reasonable spot in transit and tried hard but had no answers for the eventual winner. Lands in a plum spot and he should be around the mark.

9 Romantic Encounter (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes straight to town for Team Hayes after a debut win at Bendigo when on speed and got better as the race went on to win and win well. Good test here but think he can measure up.

2 Memo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a few weeks between runs since resuming in the Furious at Randwick where she just looked in need of the run and couldn’t quite finish the job behind Apocalyptic. Tick over trial was quite good and back to this level, she takes beating.

1 La Dorada (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a definite improver for Mark Walker. This girl was thrown in the deep end when resuming in the Moir and she just found them too sharp but late, she wasn’t too bad. Fitter, up to 1200m, back miles in grade/depth, she’s a key chance.

10 Snow Mercy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes to Melbourne for Phillip Stokes after a last start maiden win in Adelaide, but it was in a benchmark race and she was quite strong in the run to the line. Good test here but keen to see how she goes.

6 Treasurethe Moment (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the winner if she has overcome her issues with the colic. She would have been close to favourite in the Makybe Diva after her arrogant win in the Memsie, with that form being ticked off by Buckaroo running a blinder in the Underwood. If she is fit and firing, she wins.

1 Tom Kitten (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run in the Makybe Diva. He was never really threatening given the ridiculous tempo but he stayed on and was a pass mark. His best is good enough to threaten.

2 Attrition (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is one for exotics. He resumed in the So You Think over 1500m here where he got into a decent spot near the speed and loomed to win but first up, condition just gave way. Better for the run, he’s a first four contender.

6 Lady Shenandoah (Bet Now:  $SP.00), despite the wide draw, is clearly top seed for this race. She resumed in the Concorde and clearly should have won, having no luck at any stage in what turned out to be an ugly watch when second to Headwall. If she overcomes the draw, she has plenty on these.

5 Magic Time (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a ripper for Beggy and maps to get every chance. She resumed with a bang in the Cockram, giving them a start and a beating. She’ll be strong late. Just depends how she goes around The Valley.

7 Charm Stone (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an interesting runner. She resumes for Price/Kent, having not raced since the Goodwood when down the track behind stablemate Reserve Bank, which followed a sharp victory in the Robert Sangster. Looks to have trialled well, watch betting.

7 Oh Too Good (Bet Now:  $SP.00) seems the straight bat play in th get out. She was excellent when resuming in the Let’s Elope, sitting wide with cover before angling for clear air and once she let down, I thought it was race over, but Lazzura was too tough and too good. Positive ride here, she’ll take running down.

5 Abounding (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is bursting to win for Rob Heathcoate. Loved her return fresh in the Cockram before going to the Let’s Elope where she was there to win but had to settle for a third to Lazzura. B Shinn on, she appeals.

6 Molly Bloom (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the interesting runner. Chris Waller had nominated Lazzura and Leica Lucy for this race, but goes with this mare only, who just looked in need of the run in the Mona Lisa. J Mac on, fitter and up in trip, I say she’s a definite improver at odds.
