4 More Than Hope (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is progressive and heading in the right direction for Cody Reardon. He was a sharp maiden winner last Wednesday at Murray Bridge, leading throughout and he gave nothing else a look in to win impressively. Good racing style, he takes beating.

2 Kalmana (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hard to beat for Team Jolly after a track/distance maiden win at the midweeks, leading throughout and credit to him, he found under pressure to fend them off and get the job done. He’s a horse that is getting better with racing and strikes a winnable race I say.

6 Sassy Sophie (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran behind More Than Hope last Wednesday at Murray Bridge where she got a mile out of her ground and while she was never threatening, she did make up headway and was pretty good late. Spots them a start again but should be strong at the end.

13 Rambling (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has to be given another look. First run for Will Clarken came last Wednesday at Murray Bridge over 900m where the market gravitated towards her but I just think she found them a bit sharp. Better set up here and I think her best form is clearly good enough.

6 Tyga Taste (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since debuting in a Murray Bridge maiden over 1200m. He was well tried at odds but was four wide throughout and the hard run just told on him late in the piece. Had trialled well prior, not dismissing him.

14 Tiddy Widdy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a total forgive after racing over 1000m here last Saturday when wide no cover throughout and that hard run just told on her late in the piece. Better run in transit this time around, she can run a much improved race.

1 Exalted Fire (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has a good track/distance record and will take holding out after racing two weeks ago on the course proper here when on speed throughout and tried hard but couldn’t withstand the finale of Peta’s Heart. Knocking on the door and strikes a winnable race.

2 Lake’s Folly (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran a plain fifth to Peta’s Heart a fortnight back on the course proper. He was backed with confidence late but after getting a suck run in transit, he was never really a factor and just whacked in the run to the line. Prior efforts were good enough to say he can win this.

8 Red Roof (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through the Bellakai race from three weeks back at Murray Bridge. She got back to near last in the run and made up minimal headway, failing to get involved when last. If she can be within range, she has the finale to be dangerous.

6 Bit Of A Rebel (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is four weeks between runs since racing over 1550m here. He landed near the speed and tried his guts out but he couldn’t quite see it through, just feeling the pinch late in the piece. Back to 1400m with fresh legs, he can bounce back.

3 Cheval Savant (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an interesting runner. Formerly with Ciaron Maher, he noew finds himself with Michael Hickmott. His last run came on March 8 at Murray Bridge when leading and failed to fire late behind Imposing Suspct. Looks to have trialled well and his best is clearly good enough to be dangerous.

7 Tupoleu (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through the Talisay race from two weeks back on the course proper here. He was ridden a touch too warm I thought, failing to finish his race off when down the track. I think with a more patient steer, he can run a much improved race.

1 Angelic Appeal (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has a good track/distance record and is hard to beat after her effort at Murray Bridge three weeks ago where she got back to near last in the run and while she was never threatening, I didn’t mind the way she finished her race off in defeat behind Fast Bubbles. Hard to beat if she can settle closer.

4 Murmullo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is heading in the right direction for Busuttin/Young. She is two on the bounce, winning her maiden in sharp style at Warracknabeal before going to Echuca when leading throughout and she gave nothing else a look in. Good test here, 1400m, but with her racing style, she’ll give herself every chance.

Travis Doudle had a couple nominated for this race, but goes with the sole rep in 2 Beautiful Jewel (Bet Now:  $SP.00), a mare that will be suited at 2000m+, but she can sprint well fresh. Did nice things when last in work and whole she will spot them a start, look for her to find the line.

5 Under And Over (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a very interesting runner. Formerly with Team McEvoy, she now finds herself with the Bain/Taylor camp. She hasn’t raced since Dec 21 at Murray Bridge when off speed and kept chasing in a pretty good effort in defeat behind Jazz Affair. Looks to have trialled well, watch betting.

2 Zanthron (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is four weeks between runs since racing over the course proper here when trying hard but was clearly no match for impressive winner Lingani. Good track/distance record, good racing style, he appeals.

8 Kova (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a threat after her effort two weeks back on the course proper. She got into a decent spot near the speed and loomed to win but just couldn’t quite finish the job behind Hajra. That form does read well for this and is a previous track/distance winner.

5 Wine Barron (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1550m after racing over 2000m four weeks back on the course proper where the track was bottomless and he was never really a factor behind Silent Emmy. Better set up here, he can bounce back hard.

3 Placo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) can run a much improved race. He ran three weeks ago at Murray Bridge where he did early work from the wide gate and the run just told on him late in the piece behind Fast Bubbles. Tricky draw here but with a positive ride, he can bounce back.

7 The Mansman (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing over 1400m at Murray Bridge. He did get back in the run and spotted those in front a start but I did expect him to finish off his race a touch better behind Liselle’s Luck. Like him up in trip and his best is clearly good enough.

13 Splash Back (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks so well placed here for Beggy. She ran down the straight in the Aurie’s Star at Flemington last start and just found them a bit sharp but was solid late in the piece. Better for the run and up to 1400m, she gets a perfect chance to snare a blacktype win.

5 Great Maximus (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been up a little while but is holding his form really well. Just got left flat footed two weeks ago at The Valley but he kept on and was pretty good late in the piece behind impressive all the way winner Red Hot Nicc. If he can settle closer, be within range, he can threaten for sure.

2 Dubai Poet (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes here with fresh legs after racing in the Mildura Cup over 1400m several weeks back where he did too much work on speed and was tired late, but he stuck on well to finish third behind Harmonious Senora. Good racing style, he appeals.

9 Sign From Above (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs after racing over 1200m at Murray Bridge. He did work to land on speed and tried hard but just felt the pinch late in the piece behind Richie D’Amour. He should be strong late and can win.

6 Anotherhouse (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1250m after racing over 1400m three weeks ago at Murray Bridge when near the speed throughout and he tried hard but just couldn’t quite get involved behind Fast Bubbles. Like him back in trip and has a good racing style.

12 Vallencourt (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise to 1250m after resuming over 1000m here at the midweeks. She got off speed and spotted those in front a start but liked the way she closed off late in the piece behind Halliwell. Fitter and up in trip, she only runs well.
