1 Tennenbaum (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to be humming for Brad Widdup and being trained on the track, there is clear intent. He resumed with a bang at Wyong, getting better as the race went on in an awesome return. Tick over trial was strong, 1400m no issue, a clear top seed for me.

3 Nations League (Bet Now:  $SP.00) didn’t do a bad job when a first up third at Warwick Farm, sitting off speed and worked home really well without threatening. Like the rise to 1400m…doubt he wins but a top three lock IMO.

7 Grafology (Bet Now:  $SP.00) could be a sleeper for the JJ Atkins for David Payne. Hasn’t been too bad in two runs, the latest being at the start of April at Warwick Farm when okay late without threatening behind Seraphox. He’ll be strong late. Just depends what sort of start he concedes.

6 Oakfield Alaska (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a talented animal for Scott Singleton that is 2/2. Latest win was at Muswellbrook when giving them a start and a beating in an impressive performance. That was 1450m so 1500m here is no issue, keen to see how he goes.

1 Olympian (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1500m after racing over 2000m in the Frank Packer Plate when outclassed but far from disgraced in defeat. Horror draw but looks a talented horse and this isn’t a deep overall Highway.

5 West Head (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1500m after resuming over 1200m at Mudgee when off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a good effort in defeat when fourth. Tick over trial win was sharp, can settle forward and be dangerous.

13 Viewpoint (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a smart three year old for Nacim Dilmi that was a dominant winner when resuming here, giving them a start and a beating in an impressive effort. Scratchings has depleted this field, Nash sticks, he’s top seed.

4 Audrey’s Lane (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was game in defeat two weeks ago in the Midway at Randwick, tucked in behind the speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there when third to impressive winner Unique Ambition. Lands near the front and only runs well.

1 Tambeloa (Bet Now:  $SP.00) would want to run well here if they have eyes on the Derby. He resumes, his last run seeing him finish down the track in the Magic Millions Subzero. Looks to have trialled well, watch betting.

3 Tazima (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a nice prospect on the up and I am confident he can measure up here. Several weeks between runs since an impressive win over 1900m at Rosehill where he knuckled down with purpose late and lifted to the line under J Mac. Freshened up, recent trial was strong, he takes beating,

11 Natoya (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is getting towards peak fitness and should appreciate getting to 1800m. She ran second over the mile at Warwick Farm last time, closing with real purpose in a good effort in defeat behind Fiddler’s Green. Hard fit, rising to an ideal distance, one of the hardest to beat.

10 Sacrify (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate getting to 1800m after resuming over 1500m here. He landed just off speed and tried hard but first up, condition just gave way late in the piece. Like the rise in trip, good upside, not dismissing.

14 Couples Retreat (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Team Archibald trained mare that resumes. She hasn’t raced since Dec 27 over 1200m at Randwick when down the track behind Super Norwest but was at the end of a long prep and I think needing the paddock. Looks to have trialled up very nicely, watch betting.

2 Golden Straand (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was an impressive winner when resuming over this trip at Warwick Farm, sitting off speed before being clicked up by Nash and he showed nice change up speed to win and win well. Keen to see how he goes.

7 Negotiations (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of I Am Invincible that resumes for Ciaron Maher. He hasn’t raced since Nov 22 at the Sunny Coast when down the track behind Poster Girl, who is being aimed towards the Tatts Tiara. Just one soft trial but does go well fresh so watch betting.

6 Regal Award (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is one of the leading contenders. He ran three weeks ago in the South Pacific Classic and worked home really well late when third to Beskar. Tick over trial was quite good and with a more positive ride, he’ll take a power of beating.

4 Buffalo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a beauty for David Atkins and is one of the hardest to beat after his Provincial Championships effort, getting a mile back but rocketed late in the piece behind Lord Of Biscay. If he is able to settle closer and be within range, he will be hard to hold out.

8 Dusty Bay (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran in the Midway two weeks back at Randwick, attempting to lead throughout and gave a decent sight from the front but just felt the pinch late in the piece when second. Good racing style, he can pinch first four at a price.

4 Oh Diamond Lil (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is here to play I feel. Had two trials in the Autumn and looked an ideal Coolmore Classic type but was spelled. Has come back, and her recent trial win at Rosehill. she went like a rocket and for mine, is clearly here to play and is hard to beat.

11 Chidiac (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a very interesting runner because I am not 100% sold on her at 1400m but she did win over the trip last start in the Country Championships Final, albeit controlled on speed and was too good. Hard to knock the way she’s racing.

2 Konasana (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Chris Waller trained mare that resumes. This girl is first up, having not raced since Jan 10 when down the track at Wyong in The Lakes. Likely will find them sharp but should be strong at the end.

15 Palmetto (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is worth a throw at the stumps. He comes back to the mile after racing over 2600m in the Chairmans where he just struggled on the shifty track and was never a factor. Firmer deck, he’ll be strong late and overall, this race isn’t deep.

2 Tavi Time (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have returned well for Kris Lees and although he may have eyes on the Scone Cup, I think he’ll take beating against these. He resumed two weeks ago at Randwick and was quite good against the pattern in defeat I thought behind Captain Furai. Fitter and up in trip, good upside to come, he clearly rates highly for me.

1 Middle Earth (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a knockout hope. Sneaky flying this horse for Ciaron Maher and was an eye catcher when resuming at Caulfield. If they can run on, a win wouldn’t shock given he is the class factor.

3 Way To The Stars (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will jump on the bunny and take running down, as seen throughout his career. Forget last run at Flemington. Off speed, bog track, he was never a threat. Tick over trial was strong, he lands in front and gets Nash.

7 Zealously (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Harry Angel that resumes for Peter Snowden. This guy hasn’t raced since the Magic Millions Snippets when far from disgraced in defeat behind Axius. He does go well as a short course type and his trials have been sharp. Leading contender.

2 Brudenell (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Kris Lees trained gelding that resumes. This guy is first up, having not raced since Dec 13 when down the track in the Razor Sharp behind Weeping Woman. Trial work has been encouraging and he does go well fresh so watch betting.

11 Spione (Bet Now:  $SP.00) returned with a bang at the midweeks here, giving them a start and a beating in an electric return. Good upside/improvement to come, stable is humming at present…one of the hardest to beat.

19 Estremo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is in the mix. He resumed over 1200m at Randwick against some pretty decent opposition and worked home well enough I thought when close up in defeat behind Signor Tortoni. Fitter and up to 1400m, he only runs well.

4 Time Quest (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Matty Smith trained gelding that resumes. He hasn’t raced since Nov 15 on Hunter Day at Newcastle when down the track over 1850m. He is a swimmer so he will be getting better deeper into the campaign but has trialled well.

BEST BET: Race Three Number 5 Swift Legend

NEXT BEST: Race One Number 1 Tennenbaum

LONG SHOT: Race Eight Number 15 Palmetto
