1 Swift Dragon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is first up for Liam Birchley and is dangerous after a debut win at Rockhampton back in December, sitting on speed and was trucking before being clicked up and away he went to win and win well. Went like a rocket in a trial win last week at the Sunny Coast, he commands respect.

8 Pembrey (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Tony Gollan trained filly on debut and she looks smart. 2/2 at the trials, the latest on Tuesday when seemingly moving very nicely I thought. Bred to be handy, she looks handy, she commands clear respect.

2 Apostle (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Pat Webster trained juvenile that debuts. He was with Michael Freedman but didn’t have a run. Now with Webster and his recent trial win at Toowoomba was very impressive. Stable can get them to fire at start one, so watch betting.

8 Larado (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a very progressive galloper for Matty Hoysted and it’s hard to get away from him. He was a dominant winner two weeks ago at this track/distance, knuckling down with real purpose late to wear down Spiethtacular and get the job done. 2/2 this time in, no reason why he can’t make it three.

6 Royal Commodore (Bet Now:  $SP.00) resumed with a bang at Grafton, leading throughout and he gave nothing else a look in to win quite impressively. Looks to land on speed, good upside to come, he’s a key threat to Larado.

7 Moonhaven (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was pretty good in defeat behind Power Of The Brave three weeks ago at the Sunny Coast. He got beaten for early speed and while he was never threatening, he kept chasing and was pretty good late in the piece I thought. Fitter, he can run a much improved race.

2 Diamond Epic (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was given a 12/10 by Williams to win at the Sunny Coast three weeks ago, slicing her way through the field and finished best to win quite well. Loses Williams, but remains well in after the claim for Sutherland and will be strong late.

3 Rezone (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was an impressive winner over the mile here two weeks ago, getting a peach by Williams and finished best nearer the inside to score in good style. A horse clearly heading in the right direction and is one of the leading contenders.

7 Luton Hoo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran a narrow second to Rezone in the race mentioned above. She attempted to lead throughout and gave a strong sight from the front but had no answers late for the in form Currie horse. Good racing style, claim, she’s in the mix.

7 Dream Lantern (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is capable with her best. She ran at the Sunny Coast three weeks back where she got to near last in the run and while she was never a winning threat, she was quite good late in the piece behind Estrondo. If within range, she has the finale to take this out.

12 Savagery Vibe (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should be at peak fitness. She ran over 1000m here two weeks ago where she just found them a touch sharp but she kept chasing and was pretty good late in the piece behind Larado. Hard fit and up to 1200m, she’s a key threat.

9 Just Precious (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fourth to Larado two weeks back. She was beaten for early speed and while she was never threatening, she kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat. Fitter and up in trip…doubt she wins, but she can run first four.

6 Brutal Miss (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a good filly and has to be given another chance. Market push really said she was there to play at the Sunny Coast but got too far back, was wide and never a factor. Hard to beat if she can settle closer in the run.

3 Dragonne Rouge (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been freshened up since the MM Guineas behind Torque To Be Sure. She got off speed and just whacked in the run to the line. Much better suited here at this level and at 1200m, she can bounce back.

2 Blitzburg (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a significant drifter in betting two weeks back over 1000m here and ran accordingly, getting back near last in the run and was never a factor behind Earn To Burn. Hard fit and rising back up in trip, he’s getting near D Day.

4 Tacitly (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks the clear top seed here after a maiden win at this track/distance at the midweeks, getting the dream run in transit behind the speed before angling clear and he made a mess of them late to win with arrogance. He will take a power of beating with that confidence boost under the belt.

2 North Pole (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was several weeks between runs when racing over the mile here a fortnight back. He made up some ground but first run in a month, just think condition gave way late. Like him up to 1800m and fitter, he’s in the mix against these.

8 Valouri (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a threat at odds. She ran over the mile here two weeks back where she got too far out of her ground and while she was never threatening, she kept chasing and was far from disgraced. If she can be within range, she has the finale to take this out.

1 Green Fly (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run after resuming three weeks back in the Carrington over 1400m at Randwick. He got badly held up in behind before angling clear late and really attacked the line with purpose behind Sandpaper. Better set up here, he’s right in the mix.

4 John Rambo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran four weeks ago in the Class 6 on Magic Millions Day, getting a mile out of his ground, but worked home with real purpose in a pretty good effort in defeat behind the in form Hawker Hall. He’s flying this horse and with a half positive ride, he’ll take holding out.

5 Queen Air (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Tony Gollan trained mare that resumes. This girl hasn’t raced since Oct 11 when down the track in the QLD Cup behind Walsh bay after getting keen off speed. likely spots them a start but will be strong late and can threaten at odds.

14 Katdeel (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is one of the hardest to beat for Mark Currie after racing over this trip three weeks ago at the Sunny Coast. He lobbed just off speed and presented to win when given clear air and just couldn’t quite see it through when second to Nails Murphy. Racing well and is hard to beat against these.

6 Nails Murphy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Ciaron Maher. He has turned the corner since coming North of the Tweed, winning a couple on the bounce at the Sunny Coast in impressive fashion. Tricky gate to overcome but hard to knock the way he’s racing.

7 Naval Seal (Bet Now:  $SP.00) let down with real purpose to win over this track/distance just over two weeks back, getting better as the race went on to score. He’s hit and miss but when he is on like last start, he is a good horse for this level. In the mix for sure.

8 Power Of The Brave (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is proving himself to be quite effective at the short course and with that in mind, he’s the way I am going. He won three weeks ago at the Sunny Coast, wearing down Yoyo Yeezy to get the job done. He thrives at 1000m, and despite rising to open grade, I am confident he can measure up.

1 Steady Ready (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1000m after racing over 1200m in the Magic Millions Snippets four weeks ago, leading and he gave a bold sight from the front but the end of 1200m just found him out. Back to 1000m, lands on speed, takes running down.

3 Vodka Martini (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran second to Tiger Tie two weeks back at this track/distance. He was there to win and loomed but couldn’t wear down the leader and the in form mare. That was his first run in five weeks so with upside to come, he’s in the mix.

14 Estrondo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Rob Heathcoate and it’s hard to get away from him running well once again. He has won two on the bounce, both over 1200m, firstly at Doomben before an impressive display at the Sunny Coast three weeks ago. He should prove hard to beat once again.

8 Press Link (Bet Now:  $SP.00) resumed with a bang two weeks ago at this track/distance, giving them a start and a beating in an impressive display. He’s been hit and miss throughout his career but off the return, he has to be hard to beat.

7 Pocket Full (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran a close up fourth to Hatchet three weeks back at the Sunny Coast. He lobbed on speed and did try hard but couldn’t quite see it through, but was far from disgraced in defeat behind the in form galloper in Hatchet. More patient steer, he can take this out.
