10 Face The Wild (Bet Now: $5.00) is a talented juvenile for Team McEvoy. Thought she’d be a Magic Millions contender but didn’t quite get the job done in two runs and was spelled. Given a good break and her jumpout work has been very sharp. She looks here to play.

3 Aston (Bet Now: $6.50) was pretty good late at Sandown a fortnight back, getting off speed and was good late when third to Mbube. He’ll spot them a start I dare say but will launch late and be strong at the end.

6 Angelic Rise (Bet Now: $10.00) will land on the bunny and run a positive race, as seen at Sandown two weeks back where she tried hard but just felt the pinch late. Doubt she can win, but is one to be included in exotics.

9 Luna Cat (Bet Now: $9.00) is four weeks between runs since racing over 1200m, settling off speed and worked home pretty well late in the piece I thought when second to Flyer. Fresh legs and 1100m, she’ll spot them a start but be strong late.

1 Hi Dubai (Bet Now: $31.00) steps up to 1100m after racing over 1000m at Sandown two weeks ago. She landed near the speed and tried hard but just felt the pinch late behind Bazaball Rewarded. Up to 1100m, has class, her best sees her go close.

3 Dreamzel (Bet Now: $15.00) was an impressive winner at Sandown two back before racing there again two weeks back where she got off speed and was never really a factor. Hit and miss but her best is good enough to take out a race like this.

5 Race For Rule (Bet Now: $2.60) is hard to beat for Robbie Griffiths after a narrow second at Sandown two weeks ago, sitting near the speed and tried hard to get the job done but was nabbed late by Afterberna. Good racing style, hard fit, she’s in the mix.

2 Afterberna (Bet Now: $4.50) got a peach ride from Houston at Sandown two weeks ago, getting the suck run in behind before driving into clear air and in a close go, she got the job done. She’s found winning form and she can certainly go on with it.

1 Custom (Bet Now: $6.00) is a Ciaron Maher trained filly that resumes. This girl is first up, having not raced since Feb 14 when running fourth in the Desirable at Flemington. Fresh at 1200m I like and she has jumped out well for the return. Leading chance.

18 Ant (Bet Now: $9.00) has been sneaky good in two runs back and do think getting a rise in trip is ideal. Luckless when resuming at Caulfield Heath. He then went to Flemington three weeks ago where he got a fair way out of his ground but was solid late. Peak fitness and rising to 2000m, he appeals.

2 Savour The Dream (Bet Now: $5.50) would have been an absolute moral beat if he didn’t get clear air at Mornington last time but thankfully for his fans, he did and he made an absolute mess of them. Proven metro performer, he can bounce back hard.

6 Flash Feeling (Bet Now: $41.00) is a few weeks between runs after racing over the mile at Flemington when wide no cover on speed and that early burn just told on him late in the piece. He is a good horse when right, so am not dismissing.

4 Gilded Water… (Bet Now: $4.80) on face value, he was horrendous behind Pudding when resuming at Sandown five weeks ago, but post race, the vet found he had an internal bleed, so a total forgive. Had been trialling like a rocket prior, I am not dismissing him and I am saying he can bounce back.

5 Star Of India (Bet Now: $8.00) is knocking on the door. He ran second at Flemington three weeks ago, settling off speed and drove hard late when a narrow second to surprise winner Ghetto Superstar. He’s knocking on the door and strikes a winnable race.

7 Thedoctoroflove (Bet Now: $9.00) is third up from a spell and should be at peak fitness. He ran over 1800m at Sandown two weeks back and while he was never a winning threat, I liked the way he kept chasing and finding the line in defeat. Like him at 2000m, can settle closer, he’s dangerous.

13 Set Me Loose (Bet Now: $3.40) comes to town off the back of a first up win at Seymour, sitting on speed and was trucking before being clicked up and away she went to win and win well. Had trialled super leading in and off the return, she’s hard to beat against these.

5 Street Artist (Bet Now: $6.00) comes here with fresh legs, his last run being on Golden Mile Day at Bendigo where not much went right behind Navy Pilot. Tick over jumpout was sharp and his best is clearly good enough.

1 Shining Smile (Bet Now: $27.00) steps up to 1000m after racing over 975m during the Swan Hill Carnival, beaten for early speed but kept chasing in a pretty good effort when second. Maps ideally, 1000m is fine…one for exotics.

11 Mometz (Bet Now: $11.00) was stiff not to win two back at Sandown I thought. Then last start at Flemington, he got back to near last in the run and was good late without threatening. Knocking on the door and this looks a race well within reach.

8 Somewhere (Bet Now: $26.00) is several weeks between runs since resuming over 1400m at Sandown, sitting off speed and worked home well in defeat I thought when third to Duchess Zou. Tick over jumpout was encouraging and with good upside to come, rising to 1700m, he appeals.

6 Indispensable (Bet Now: $21.00) is sneaky flying for Craig Weeding. He got a mile back in the Swan Hill Cup but really liked the way he finished his race off. He’ll spot them a start again but if within range, is dangerous at a price.

5 El Rocko (Bet Now: $11.00) is a frustrating horse to follow. But, I will say just forget his run at Sandown two weeks ago. He bombed the start, settled off speed and was never a factor. Much better suited when leading and rolling so if that can eventuate here, he’ll run a beauty.

7 Big Swinger (Bet Now: $2.30) is five weeks between runs since a placing at Sandown, getting back to near last in the run and made up good ground in the straight when third to Meridius. If he can settle closer in the run, he’ll take holding out.

17 He’ll Rip (Bet Now: $9.50) tried his guts out three weeks ago over 1400m at Flemington, sitting just off speed and presented to win but was nabbed late by Roadcone. He was five weeks between runs there so with room for upside/improvement, he takes beating.

4 Winnasedge (Bet Now: $4.40) is hard to beat here. He resumed over 1000m at Sandown several weeks ago where he just found them a bit sharp but kept chasing and finding the line in defeat. Good upside, had jumped out well prior to the return, he’s hard to beat.

7 Steel Move (Bet Now: $14.00) appeals here after resuming in the Golden Topaz at Swan Hill where he got a fair way off speed and worked home strongly when third. Maps ideally and drops big time in overall depth IMO.

5 Carbonados (Bet Now: $4.40) is a Team Hayes trained gelding that resumes. He’s been a frustrating horse to follow throughout time but clearly has an engine under the hood. Been given a good break and off encouraging jumpout work, watch betting.
