One of the newer betting websites in Australia is BetYouCan, recently joining the Australian betting landscape, and there looks to be good potential based on early signs with how they have set up the betting website.
Down below is a comprehensive review of BetYouCan and what they do well, what they can do better and why punters are gravitating towards them.
Why Are BetYouCan Popular?
They don’t just cover the meetings covered by the TAB. They cover international meetings too, whether it be from Japan, Europe or the US. Punters like to have plenty of options when it comes to betting so having that available is a big tick.
Being able to watch and bet on the same platform is a big tick, and while they don’t have proper live streaming like some of the big bookies like Sportsbet, TAB etc, but having some form of live streaming available is a big tick for a new bookie.
They have competitive fixed odds on their racing markets. A good example of this was a recent race at Moonee Valley where the favourite in a race was around $2.10-$2.20 across the board but with BetYouCan, they had $2.35 available, which was market leading. Good sign for a bookie starting up.
Why We Like BetYouCan
Despite being a relatively new bookie, their promotions side of things is pretty good vs other bookies. You’ll need to sign up/login in order to see what is available but from what I see, what they have is enticing for new customers.
Some new bookies are quite limited when it comes to their sporting markets but that is not the case with BetYouCan, who have extensive markets when it comes to certain sports, with a recent example being the Super Bowl in the NFL, with over 70 markets to bet on, including Same Game Multi options.
The website looks quite easy and simple to use. Some of these new bookies can get quite complicated when it comes to their website and how to navigate it, but BetYouCan have made it quite simple, with the set up seemingly proving to be very simple for new customers to use.
Why We Don’t Like BetYouCan
They have extensive sport markets available. The problem is that they don’t cover enough sports. They do have the main ones available, but having more sports available to bet on would be ideal IMO, especially as the year progresses and more sports become more prevalent.
The verification process was a complete nightmare. I filled out the details correctly and they said the identity couldn’t be verified, so they ask for a form of proof of identity. Provided, filled out correctly but still no, they want 100 points of verification. Nightmare stuff and a horrendous set up.
The banking options are poor. They only have one option to deposit, likewise with withdrawing. Punters like to have options when it comes to putting money in and out. The fact they only have one is really disappointing and you’d hope with time that this side of things improves significantly otherwise customers will be looking elsewhere.
