The Gong Information

The Gong is a new race introduced by Racing NSW which will be raced at Kembla Grange at the end of Sydney’s Spring Racing Carnival.

The race boasts a total prize pool of $1,000,000 and is at Handicap conditions with no restrictions to horse age or gender and is raced over 1600m.

The 2019 Gong will be run on Saturday the 23rd November, 2019 at Kembla Grange racecourse.

The Gong will headline a stand alone Saturday city meeting for Kembla Grange as Racing NSW looks to establish a wider audience across the state.
