The Goodwood Handicap 2027 Field, Tips, Betting Odds, Results

The Goodwood Handicap is a Group 1 race held at Morphettville racecourse each year and is the feature Group l sprint race during the Adelaide Carnival.

The Goodwood Handicap (1200m) boasts a total prize pool of $1,000,000 and is run under set weights + penalty conditions.

The Goodwood Handicap 2027 will be run on May 8, 2027 at Morphettville racecourse.

The Goodwood Handicap is the most sought after sprint race in the state. It was good enough for Black Caviar to win in 2012 before her famous victory at Royal Ascot.

The race generally attracts capacity fields, which explains why only a handful of favourites have won in the last 30 years – which include Black Caviar and Takeover Target, two of our all time greatest sprinters.
