Arrogate has failed to complete the fairy-tale finish to his career after an unplaced finish in the Breeders Cup Classic at Del Mar.
The second favourite and world’s fourth best racehorse, Gun Runner, won the Breeders Cup Classic in convincing fashion from Collected.
Arrogate who is rated on top in the Longines World’s Best Racehorse Rankings has failed to win in his final 3 starts but the champ collected over $22 million in prize money over his career.
It was announced last month that the Bob Baffert-trained Arrogate would stand at Juddmonte stud following his final race.
