1 Ace (Bet Now: $3.10) for me in the opener. He is four weeks between runs since racing over 1200m here where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he kept chasing and was pretty good late. Tick over trial was pretty good and should love the rise in trip. Happy to be with him.

6 Winning Machine (Bet Now: $8.00) has been kept on ice since a track/distance runner up resumption on Feb 8. He got off speed and was good late without threatening behind The Concentration. Likely will spot them a start but will be strong at the end.

10 Double Show (Bet Now: $10.00) hasn’t raced since Jan 28 over the mile at Happy Valley. He got into a decent spot in transit and was never really a factor behind Thunder Blink. Better suited at 1400m and a tick over trial was more than encouraging.

12 So My Folks (Bet Now: $12.00) on top but not really a race I want to get involved in. He ran over 1200m here two weeks ago where he attempted to lead throughout and he gave a decent sight but just felt the pinch late. 1400m is a slight query but with front end control, he’ll take running down.

13 Shotgun (Bet Now: $2.90) is five weeks between runs since running second at this track/distance. He led and tried his guts out but just couldn’t quite get the job done when second to Aerovolanic. Good racing style and should be around the mark.

7 Beauty Gemini (Bet Now: $7.50) is a Tony Cruz trained three year old that resumes. He didn’t set the world on fire in a couple of runs but his trial work to get ready for the return has been encouraging so I’d say watch betting and see what it does.

7 Charity Together (Bet Now: $3.80) is the way I am going. He ran over 1800m here last start when getting a fair way out of his ground but really liked the way he closed his race off in defeat when second to Storm Runner. Like the rise to 2000m for him, he’ll be strong late and strikes a winnable race.

6 Storm Runner (Bet Now: $4.40) won that race mentioned above from four weeks ago over 1800m here. He got into a beaut spot in transit just off speed before being presented clear air and really knuckled down with purpose when it mattered to score. 2000m is fine, he’s a key threat.

8 Volcanic Spark (Bet Now: $5.50) ran down the track in the same race. He got back in the run and did make up some headway but was never really threatening. Tick over trial was encouraging and he becomes dangerous if he can settle closer in the run.

9 Max Que (Bet Now: $2.70) rises to Class 2 from Class 3 but I am confident he can measure up. He ran just under two weeks ago over the mile at Happy Valley when off speed and worked home strongly when second. Bursting to win and think he strikes a rather winnable race.

8 Sky Heart (Bet Now: $4.20) comes back to the mile after racing over 1800m at Happy Valley when off speed and chased strongly in the straight in a good effort when third. Good track/distance record, he’s in the mix.

2 Beauty Eternal (Bet Now: $13.00) steps back up to the mile after racing over 1400m here last time. He got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, I didn’t mind the way he finished his race off in defeat. If he brings his best, he is more than capable.

4 Run Run Sunrise (Bet Now: $5.50) has found winning form and he can go on with it, that win being three weeks ago at this track/distance when near the speed and trucking before being clicked up and he found plenty late when challenged to score. Looks to have returned well and is hard to beat here.

1 Ever Luck (Bet Now: $4.40) is having his first look at the straight course after all four runs to start his career have come over 1200m here. Latest run saw him finish midfield on Feb 22 after seemingly getting every chance. Hit and miss but his best is more than good enough to be dangerous.

11 Synergy Express (Bet Now: $10.00) is a son of Encryption that is on debut for John Size. He has had extensive trial work to get ready for start one and hasn’t looked too bad for the most part so I’d say watch betting and see what it does.

3 Circuit Fiery (Bet Now: $4.60) is on top for me. Four weeks between runs since a track/distance win, leading throughout and gave nothing else a look in to win impressively. Tricky draw but will press forward and take running down.

11 Viva Firecracker (Bet Now: $8.50) looks suited up to 1400m after racing over 1200m at Happy Valley where he got off speed and was good late without really threatening. Like the rise in trip for him and the overall depth here is a bit on the thin side.

2 Family Knight (Bet Now: $101.00) is an improver at odds. He ran over 1200m at Happy Valley last start where he got dragged back from the wide barrier and while he was never really threatening, he did make up headway and was far from disgraced.

4 Warriors Dream (Bet Now: $9.00) for me. Four weeks between runs since winning at this track/distance. He got into a dream spot in transit just off speed before angling clear and he was strong to the line in winning. He’s found winning form, he can go on with it.

9 Live Wire (Bet Now: $4.60) ran over this track/distance three weeks ago where he got into a decent spot just off speed but was held up at times and didn’t really get the clearest of paths in the straight behind Yee Cheong Glory. If he gets room to move, he’s dangerous.

5 Lightning Ace (Bet Now: $46.00) should be better for the debut run, which came over 1200m at Happy Valley. He was quite raw and new to the caper and while he was never a factor, I didn’t mind the way he finished his race off in defeat. One for exotics.

1 Salon S (Bet Now: $1.22) is unbeaten in three runs and looks a nice prospect, so I think he can make it four. He hasn’t raced since Feb 22 when an all the way track/distance winner, finding plenty under pressure to fend them off and score. Tick over trial last week was pretty good so watch the market.

6 Romantic Gladiator (Bet Now: $23.00) is a former UK galloper that made his Hong Kong debut over this trip at Happy Valley when off speed and kept chasing in a definite pass mark behind Symbol Of Strength. Tick over trial last week to keep him up to the mark, good upside, he’s in the mix.

11 California Waves (Bet Now: $21.00) placed over this track/distance three weeks back. He got into a decent spot off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a pretty good effort in defeat I thought. Maps to settle handy again and should be around the mark.

6 Magnifique (Bet Now: $3.40) looks really hard to beat for David Hall after an impressive last start track/distance win, sitting off speed before being presented clear air and he let down with purpose to win and win well. He’s got good upside/improvement, he’s hard to beat.

1 Sky Trust (Bet Now: $15.00) is three weeks between runs since running second at this track/distance. He got into a decent spot just off speed and tried hard but couldn’t quite get there when second to Fast Network. Tricky gate but commands respect.

2 Wunderbar (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran down the track in the Fast Network race mentioned above. He landed off speed and just whacked in the run to the line. Tricky draw but with a positive ride, he can run an improved race.

3 Rising Force (Bet Now: $2.70) for me. He has been freshened up, having not raced for four weeks since a narrow second at this track/distance to Pakistan Legacy, trying hard but just couldn’t quite get there. Tick over trial was good and this race looks well within reach.

2 Geneva (Bet Now: $9.00) ran third in the race mentioned above. He was first up and got into a decent spot in transit, trying hard but just couldn’t quite get there. Better for the run with good upside/improvement, he’s in the mix.

8 Vulcanus (Bet Now: $126.00) comes back to Sha Tin after racing over this trip at Happy Valley when off speed and just whacked late without really threatening. Back to where he races best, he is a definite improver.

4 Embraces (Bet Now: $12.00) is the each way speck of the meeting. He hasn’t raced since Feb 25 over the mile at Happy Valley when back near last in the run and made up decent headway late without threatening. Tick over trial was pretty good and maps to settle much closer. Takes beating against these at a price for sure IMO.

8 China Win (Bet Now: $5.00) is a key threat. He ran over 1800m at Happy Valley a few weeks ago. He got into a decent spot just off speed and was there to win but just couldn’t quite get there when second. Maps ideally and back to the mile should be fine.

14 The Golden Knight (Bet Now: $7.00) is three weeks between runs since a track/distance win, settling off speed before being presented clear air and came with a well timed run to score. Confidence is up, ideal map again, I say he’s a key threat.
