2 Top To Sky (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should prove hard to beat against this lot. He has been kept on the fresh side since Jan 4 when down the track over 1400m at Sha Tin. Like him back to 1200m and a recent tick over trial was sharp.

1 Country Dancer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since a down the track effort at this track/distance but I want to be somewhat forgiving given he drew wide, was dragged back and never really got involved. Think with a more positive ride, he can threaten.

7 Rich Horse (Bet Now:  $SP.00) hasn’t raced since Jan 21 over this trip at Sha Tin when wide no cover for the trip and the hard run told late in the piece. Very hit and miss this guy but if he brings his best, he can run a cheeky race at odds.

8 Bits Superstar (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks the good thing on the card. He ran second two weeks ago at this track/distance, settling off speed and did try hard but just couldn’t quite get there when second. Purton sticks and with a kind map in his corner, he should take beating.

1 Victor The Rapid (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was an impressive winner three weeks ago at this track/distance, giving them a start and a beating in an impressive display. Creeping up in the relative weights but hard to knock how he’s racing.

7 Awesome Treasure (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been freshened up since Jan 14 when on speed and tired badly to finish last, with the rider concerned with his action. Given the mini break and a tick over trial was encouraging. Lands on speed and will give a sight.

2 Huge Wave (Bet Now:  $SP.00) doesn’t have the best of racing patterns but if he’s within range, I think he’ll prove too strong for them late. Placed in the January Cup at this track/distance two back before coming back to 1650m last start and was good late from off speed. Small field, he won’t be far away and I think he’ll finish over the top.

1 Californiatotality (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Tony Cruz trained gelding that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since October when placing over the mile. First up at 1800m does signal intent and his recent trial was quite good.

7 Jumbo Legend (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is four weeks between runs since a down the track effort at this track/distance. He was tardy away and never really got involved in a forgive run. Better suited here in the small field, he’s a first four contender.

I think 3 Cheerful Wongchoy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) can make a winning debut. He’s had extensive trial work to get ready for start one and each time he has looked pretty good, notably the latest two. Good lead for mine is that Zac is booked for the debut.

7 Dan Attack (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes here with fresh legs for Doug Whyte, having not raced since Jan 14 when a real eye catcher at this track/distance, charging late from the back when second. If within range, he has the finale to be quite dangerous.

10 Gimme Five (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance when tardy to begin but showed good toe to lead. But, that early burn told late and he finished down the track. Clean jump, he likely leads and will give cheek.

6 Great Spirit (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is where I am leaning. He placed three weeks ago at this track/distance, settling off speed and worked to the line pretty well in defeat I thought. Has an ideal map in his corner and for mine, strikes a winnable race.

5 Silver Spurs (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1200m after racing over 1000m down the straight at Sha Tin when on speed and fought on bravely but couldn’t quite finish it off when second. He should find the top and take running down.

3 Fatal Blow (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was kept relatively safe in betting when racing at this track/distance three weeks back. He got into a decent spot in transit just off speed and I thought was there to threaten but he just whacked late. Tricky gate but his best is good enough.

5 Amazing Reward (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top but not really a race I want to get involved in. He finished midfield at Sha Tin over the mile last start when off speed and seemingly had his chance but just whacked to the line. Think he is much better suited here and should prove hard to beat.

1 Stormi (Bet Now:  $SP.00) commands respect after two wins on the bounce. Both of those wins have come at this track/distance, each time leading throughout and finding plenty under pressure to fend off and score. Good racing style, he’ll look the winner for a long way.

8 Matsu Victor (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is four weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance when down the track after getting a decent enough run in transit. Not sure he is a horse I could back to win but is one for exotics.

8 Silo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hard to beat if he brings his best. Total forgive when last racing on Jan 25 at Sha Tin. On paper, he was plain, but pulling up, he was making respiratory noises. Tick over trial was good and if he brings his best, then he is clearly top seed.

2 Embraces (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fourth in the same Sha Tin race mentioned above, won by Flying Luck. He got a fair way out of his ground but loved the way he closed off late. Can settle much closer in the run and be effective late.

1 Keefy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fifth at this track/distance three weeks back. He got into a decent spot in transit just off speed and seemingly had his chance but just whacked. Tricky gate, but with luck, can run first four.

4 Greater Bae (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form and he can certainly go on with it. Dominant win at this track/distance four weeks ago, giving them a start and a beating in an impressive effort. Purton on, he’ll do me.

1 Candlelight Dinner (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1200m after an impressive win three weeks ago over 1000m here, sitting off speed and coming with a well timed run to score. Extra 200m should be fine, he commands respect.

11 Spirit Of Peace (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was game in defeat two weeks back at this track/distance. He ran fourth but you can argue he wins had he not been wide no cover for the trip. Courageous effort and if that hasn’t busted him, he can take this out.

1 Triumphant More (Bet Now:  $SP.00) each way in the get out. I want to be forgiving of his last start effort at this track/distance given he did early work to cross from the wide gate and the hard run just told late. Kinder map this time around, he is worthy of an each way ticket.

3 Love Together (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is having his first look at 1200m after doing all his racing at the short course, the latest being three weeks ago over 1000m here when a closing second to Candlelight Dinner. 1200m looks as if it should be fine, he commands respect.

9 Storming Dragon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fifth two weeks back at his track/distance. He was an eye catcher after getting a mile back and closing off pretty well. If he can get a drag into the race, he’s dangerous.

BEST BET: Race Two Number 8 Bits Superstar

NEXT BEST: Race Three Number 2 Huge Wave

LONG SHOT: Race Seven Number 8 Silo
