Conducted via the Inglis Digital Online platform on Sunday 10 May, it features a 343 lot catalogue, with a 40 supplementary that will remain open until 5pm on Saturday 25 April.
The Digital platform will open for bidding from Friday 8 May, with lots concluding in sequential order from 10am on Sunday 10 May.
The Bhima Thoroughbreds 19 mare draft includes a reduction by Raffles Racing, headed by the winning West Australian Oaks placed Spectacular Vision, by Irish 2000 Guineas winner Mastercraftsman.
A half-sister to the Gr3 winner Qiji Express, she has not missed a season and is in-foal to Written Tycoon. She has a filly foal by Capatalist, a Fastnet Rock colt yearling with her previous and first Not A Single Doubt foal dieing.
Spectacular Vision’s winning dam Miss Krisdel is half-sister to Champion NZ Sprinter Miler Gee I Jane, and Gr3 winner Miss Jessie Jay, the dam of Champion NZ 3YO Katie Lee and NZ 2YO in Banchee.
English bred stakes placed winner El Sagrado is also from Raffles Racing, and is in-foal to Written Tycoon being a half-sister to US duel Gr3 winner Pachattack, the dam of stakes winner Liquid Amber.
Also a half-sister to stakes winner La Mina, El Sagrado’s stakes winning dam El Laood is also the dam of Champion Singapore 3YO Sprinter and Older Stayer Big Maverick.
The Group 3 winning Koonoomoo heads the Segenhoe Stud 21 mare draft and is in-foal to Triple Crown champion Justify. From the winning Rory’s Jester mare Maximova, she is the family of top-line racemare Embasadora, the grandam of Jeune King Prawn.
In always producing a foal by such popular sires as American Pharoah, Maurice, Dissident and Fastnet Riock, Koonoomoo has the Hinchinbrook 2yo filly All That Sass with Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, being a $170,000 buy by Mi Runners at the 2019 Magic Million Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
From Gooree Park’s 27 mares it’s the duel Gr3 winner Gamble Me who is in-foal to So You Think, having produced the Group placed winners Major Conquest and Kinagat. This is the family of Seeking the Gold and Fast Play.
With all 16 mares from Luskin Lodge being mated to the Coolmore Stud Stakes winner Flying Artie, it’s the stakes winning in-foal Foxwedge mare Kentucky Miss that heads the draft. Twelve Pack Shelly, her US stakes winning dam is also in this sale.
Again, this Australian Broodmare Sales features mares in-foal to Pierro, Zoustar, Dundeel, So You Think, Brazen Beau, More Than Ready, Written Tycoon, Lonhro, Street Boss, Rubick and Deep Field.
