Darley Australia has confirmed its 2026 stallion roster, featuring 16 stallions standing across Kelvinside in New South Wales and Northwood Park in Victoria, with the group boasting a combined record of 43 Group 1 wins, 81 Group wins, 12 Champion titles and eight race or track records.
Too Darn Hot headlines the lineup at a fee of $275,000, continuing his rapid rise as one of the most influential young sires. His early success includes a higher Group winners-to-runners ratio than any stallion since Redouteās Choice, along with producing a million-dollar yearling in each of his first four crops, including a $2.2 million colt at the recent Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.
Joining him at the top end is Anamoe, priced at $110,000, whose first crop of yearlings achieved record-breaking results in the sales ring. More than 60 yearlings sold at an average of $400,000, highlighted by a top price of $1.1 million.
Victoria will see the return of Ghaiyyath, the highest-rated son of Dubawi, who stands at $88,000. With an 11 per cent stakes winners-to-runners strike rate from his first southern hemisphere crop, the former Worldās Best Racehorse of 2020 is quickly establishing himself as a leading classic sire.
In New South Wales, Harry Angel continues to gain traction at the same fee, with Group 1 performers such as Tom Kitten, Private Harry, War Machine and Angel Capital enhancing his reputation as a high-quality outcross stallion.
New additions to the roster include first-season sires Tentyris ($88,000) and Observer ($33,000). Tentyris, the fastest winner of the Coolmore Stud Stakes as well as a victor in the Lightning Stakes, offers elite sprinting credentials, while Observer provides a classic profile and becomes the only Guineas winner from the Dubawi line to stand in Victoria.
The depth of the roster is further strengthened by Bivouac ($33,000), who has already sired a dual Group 1 winner this season, alongside Broadsiding ($55,000) and Traffic Warden ($22,000), both of whom were strongly supported ahead of their first foals.
Champion two-year-olds Pinatubo ($27,500) and Native Trail ($22,000) complete the New South Wales contingent.
In Victoria, Street Boss ($66,000) continues to perform at the highest level, producing four individual Group 1 winners this season, more than any other active stallion in Australia. Cylinder ($33,000) will present his first weanlings this year, while Brazen Beau ($27,500) has maintained momentum with a strong run of stakes performers.
Kermadec ($11,000) and Paulele ($11,000) round out the roster, offering accessible and proven options for breeders.
Darley Australia Managing Director Andy Makiv praised the strength and diversity of the lineup.
āThis is an amazing lineup of stallions. Itās hard to imagine a better roster,ā he said.
āStallions that have won the right races, with the right pedigrees and producing the right results. The diversity of our roster certainly gives breeders a choice and a wonderful opportunity.ā
