Takemine, a three-quarter sister to star juvenile filly Chayan, is set to attract significant attention in the Inglis Digital June (Late) Online Sale, which is now open for bidding.
The daughter of Hellbent boasts a close pedigree connection to Chayan, who became one of the most talked-about fillies of the season before selling to Coolmore for $5.6 million at the Inglis Chairman’s Sale in May.
Chayan earned that remarkable price tag after establishing herself as the highest-rated two-year-old filly of the season.
Also among the standout offerings is Double Market, a daughter of Castelvecchio who announced her talent with victory in the Group 2 Moonee Valley Fillies Classic at just her second race start.
Godolphin has a strong presence in the catalogue with 10 entries, including Group-performed galloper Pisanello, while leading New Zealand nursery Waikato Stud has offered seven mares along with bloodstock closely related to Group 1 winners and Stakes performers.
The sale also features an unreserved reduction from Cape Schanck Stud, including Stakes-winning mares and mares carrying foals by stallions such as Pride Of Dubai, Hello Youmzain and Noverre.
Buyers will also find mares in foal to a host of sought-after sires including Bivouac, Super Seth, Stay Inside and St Mark’s Basilica.
Adding further depth to the catalogue are yearlings and weanlings by leading stallions including Zoustar, Home Affairs and Toronado.
Inglis Digital graduates have continued to perform at the highest level on the racetrack this season, none more notably than Spicy Martini, who was purchased for just $8,000 before capturing last week’s Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap.
The remarkable mare has now amassed more than $2.6 million in prizemoney, highlighting the opportunities available through the online marketplace.
Final bidding for the Inglis Digital June (Late) Online Sale will commence from 10am on Wednesday.
