After an extended break, Zennzella is gearing up for a highly anticipated comeback this Saturday in the Group 3 Summoned Stakes at Caulfield.
This marks her first race since April, where she competed in the Clare Lindop Stakes at Morphettville.
Trained by the duo of Ciaron Maher and David Eustace, this four-year-old Snitzel mare is still enthusiastic about racing.
Rick Jamieson, her buyer, and Maher both believe she has a lot more to offer in her racing career.
Zennzella, who secured a victory in the 2022 G2 Wakeful Stakes and finished fourth in the VRC Oaks, is also considered a prime broodmare candidate.
She’s resuming at 1600m, backed by a series of jumpouts that have prepared her well.
Despite being a $26 contender in the early betting for Saturday’s race, the team is optimistic about her performance.
