Blue Diamond winner Streisand will carry Yulong’s colours when she lines up in Saturday’s Group 1 Sires’ Produce Stakes at Randwick following a deal struck for the filly.
Trainer Clinton McDonald will continue to oversee Streisand’s preparation, confirming the ownership change on Tuesday morning.
Ben Melham travelled to Sydney to partner the filly in a track gallop at Randwick, with connections keen to see how she handles the step up to 1400 metres this weekend.
“She has come through the run in the Golden Slipper extremely well, she just continues to please us,” McDonald said.
“Benny (Melham) flew up to Sydney for her work this morning, she worked over 1000m in company and we are all very happy.”
Yulong has also added Paradoxium to its growing team, with the colt’s ownership details and racing colours updated on Racing Australia on Tuesday.
Prepared by Bjorn Baker, Paradoxium finished 11th in the Golden Slipper and is also set to contest the Group 1 Sires’ Produce Stakes this Saturday.
