2 Katsuko (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a nice type. Tiger Of Malay colt that bolted up in a recent Gold Coast trial, winning comfortably and running decent enough time. Bred to be handy and think he strikes a winnable race for mine.

1 Ghost Gum (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was an eye catcher when debuting two weeks ago at Eagle Farm, working home strongly from off the speed when third. Better for the run and if he can settle closer, he’ll take holding out.

5 Crescendoed (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a daughter of Better Than Ready that debuts for Paul Shailer. She has had a couple of trials in readiness for start one and hasn’t looked too bad to my eye. Likely will spot them a start but should be strong at the end.

1 Win Star (Bet Now: $2.10) was an impressive winner two weeks ago over the mile here, leading throughout and had plenty in hand after getting complete front end control. If the 2000m is fine, she is one of the hardest to beat.

6 So Fortunate (Bet Now: $11.00) steps up to 1700m after an all the way win at Grafton where she led throughout and albeit she beat nothing, she was dominant in the run to the line. The rise in trip should be fine and this isn’t a deep contest.

2 Your Attitude (Bet Now: $2.30) is just over two weeks between runs since a maiden win at Hawkesbury, knuckling down with purpose to score. Waller polish and rising to 2000m, he’s got the upside to give this a serious shake.

2 Prince Levi (Bet Now: $7.00) ran over 2400m three weeks back in the QLD Cup where I thought Du Plessis gave him a 12/10 ride and was there to win but for mine, just didn’t run the trip. Back to 2000m I like and this is a very winnable race.

1 Our Anchorage (Bet Now: $8.50) is capable. He ran over this trip at Rosehill three weeks ago and despite being held by Anthracite, he ran a credible race in defeat. Back to this level of horse, with the claim, he’s dangerous.

4 Beau Dazzler (Bet Now: $15.00) steps up to 2000m after racing over the mile last Saturday at Eagle Farm, getting off speed and was never a factor on the bog behind Twisted Queen. Firmer deck, I think he’s a definite improver at odds.

11 Cardonette (Bet Now: $1.50) has done little wrong this time in for Tony Gollan and is one of the hardest to beat. She ran over 1110m here two weeks ago and worked home strongly from off speed when second to No Fooling. 1200m should be fine, she’s hard to beat.

16 Daiane (Bet Now: $26.00) is several weeks between runs since a win over 1200m at Toowoomba, leading throughout and gave nothing else a look in to win well. Good test here, but with her racing style, she’ll give herself every chance.

2 Custo (Bet Now: $21.00) steps up to 1200m after racing in the 1110m race won by No Fooling mentioned above. He landed in a decent spot off speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there. Think with a soft trip, 1200m is fine and is a knockout hope.

1 Kickup Rocky (Bet Now: $2.35) was an impressive winner first up over 1300m at Eagle Farm, landing on speed and he found plenty under pressure to score. Good racing style, good upside to come, he takes beating.

7 Groening (Bet Now: $2.80) is putting together a sequence of wins. Impressive winner two back at Rockhampton before going to the Sunny Coast over 1200m where he got better as the race went on. 1350m should be fine, he commands respect.

3 Duke Of Albemarie (Bet Now: $4.60) steps up to 1350m after racing over 1200m two weeks back at the Gold Coast. He got off speed and spotted those in front a start but closed strongly when second. Rise in trip suits and is a clear threat.

7 Midnight Spirit (Bet Now: $15.00) comes back to 1200m after racing over 1400m four weeks back at Eagle Farm and seemingly had her chance but for mine, she didn’t run the trip. Like her back to 1200m, she’s dangerous.

1 True Amor (Bet Now: $3.60) is a Team Munce trained gelding that comes here off a win, that victory being at the Gold Coast a fortnight back when leading throughout and winning well. Off that effort, he’s a threat for sure.

10 Savaii (Bet Now: $71.00) is a Team Archibald trained gelding that resumes. His last run was June 3 over 1350m here when far from disgraced in defeat behind Bluepinot. He looks to have trialled really well for the return and can sprint well fresh so watch betting.

14 Misting (Bet Now:  $SP.00) each way for me. She steps up to the mile after a couple of runs at 1400m, the latest at the Sunny Coast when off speed and kept finding the line when second. Maps to get a sweet run in transit and be effective late.

9 Toro Strike (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is knocking on the door for Jack Bruce. He ran third over this track/distance two weeks ago, sitting off speed and kept chasing in the straight in a good effort in defeat behind Scripted. This looks a race well within reach so I say he’s hard to beat.

10 Fire And Light (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is in the mix. He won at Toowoomba two weeks back, sitting just off the pace before being presented and he made a mess of them late in the piece. Keen to see how he goes against these.

7 Bluepinot (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing over the mile at Eagle Farm. He settled into a decent spot off speed and presented to be a threat but just couldn’t quite finish the job when third to Dusty Bay. Racing well and should be around the mark in what looks a winnable race.

3 Atmosphere (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the seven day back up after racing last Saturday at Eagle Farm, landing in front and gave a mighty kick from the front but was nabbed late by Twisted Queen. Good racing style, firmer footing, he appeals.

1 Thunderlips (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to the mile after racing over 1350m two weeks back in his first run for the new stable and just looked in need of the run behind Just Precious. Fitter and up in trip, he’s an improver at odds.

9 Zoubaby (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should take beating for Tony Gollan after racing over 1000m at Eagle Farm four weeks back. She got beaten for early speed and while she was never a winning threat, I liked the way she kept chasing and finding the line. Fitter, up in trip, more positive ride, she takes holding out.

1 Flying Destiny (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1110m after racing over 1200m here two weeks ago, landing in front and tried hard but the end of 1200m just found him out when third to Restonica. Back to 1110m is a big tick, good racing style, he appeals.

7 Power Of The Brave (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was game in defeat three weeks back at the Gold Coast. He got off speed, was held up and checked at numerous stages, but I liked the way he kept chasing and finding the line. If he can land closer to the speed, he’ll run very well.

4 No Drama (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1350m after racing over 1400m three weeks back in the Members Cup at Eagle Farm. He did work from the wide gate and was entitled to knock right up but he kept on and was far from disgraced. Better run in transit, he takes beating.

7 Ten Deep (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is bursting to win. Game effort when second at this track/distance a fortnight back, trying hard from off speed but found one better in the in form Just Precious. Hard fit now, more positive ride, she takes beating.

6 Ser Joh (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a forgive two weeks back at this track/distance. He got back to near last and did make up headway but was never a factor. Maps to settle much closer in the run, he’s good enough to threaten.

LONG SHOT: Race Ten Number 4 No Drama
