Dual Group 1 winner Without A Fight has resumed jumpout activity as he continues his comeback from a tendon injury that sidelined him following his 2023 Melbourne Cup triumph.
Co-trainer Sam Freedman expressed satisfaction with the gelding’s progress, stating to Racing.com, “He pulled up well and is tracking along nicely. We’re pleased with how he’s come through it.”
Looking ahead, the training team is considering international targets, including the Japan Cup on November 24 and the Hong Kong Vase on December 8, both over 2400 meters. Freedman noted, “Some serious consideration has been given to Japan and Hong Kong. A mile-and-a-half in Hong Kong could be ideal for him.”
As Without A Fight continues his preparation, key decisions regarding his racing program are expected in the coming weeks.
