Winx ready to go in George Ryder Stakes

All is in readiness for Winx to chase her 17th Group One win in the George Ryder Stakes on her home track at Rosehill, with jockey Hugh Bowman saying she couldn’t be better.

Bowman put the champion through her paces in a solo gallop on the Rosehill course proper on Thursday morning ahead of her attempt at a third-straight George Ryder on Saturday.

“She’s as good as she looks. She felt nice and strong this morning and ready to go on Saturday,” Bowman said.
