The enigma that is Kementari has won his first race in over 1000 days when winning the G3 AJ Scahill Stakes at Ascot.
Kementari has not been punters pal throughout his career and that continued on Saturday where he upset the odds on favourite in the Group Three AJ Scahill Stakes at Ascot.
The Godolphin galloper was sent out at $7.50 with Sportsbet and was easy in the market after punters all but gave up on him after his disappointing run in the G1 Railway Stakes last time out but they were left to rue their decision scoring a dominant win.
Kemetari’s last win came in the Group One Randwick Guineas in March 2018 before a failed stud career which saw the training operation bring the horse back to race due to fertility issues.
