Former boom horse Alligator Blood will be out to rejuvenate his racing career with a change of stables to the Waterhouse/Bott yard and he has started in an emphatic manner winning a trial at Rosehill by a large margin.
Theย Australian Guineas winner had failed to return to his previous form after a kissing spine operation with below par runs in the Goldemarket, George Moore and the Lough Neagh which prompted the ownership group to move the horse to Sydney where he is now trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott.
The move was a last ditched effort the save the racing career of one of the biggest boom horses in recent years with the new stable set to determine if the horse will continue racing or not but the early signs look good after this mornings trial win.
