A Wangaratta trainer will face the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board on three charges relating to race day treatments of a horse.
The Russell Green trained Overton Onyx was withdrawn from a race at Wangaratta on April 6 following a visit by Racing Victoria’s Compliance and Assurance Team.
Green has been charged with alleged administration, or attempted administration, of a solution containing Green Amino drench, Blud powder and water via syringe to Overton Onyx.
The charges will be heard before the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board on August 29.
