Sacramento has been all but ruled out of a Spring campaign

The talented three-year-old Sacramento is set to miss the Spring Racing Carnival after the horse required surgery to remove a small fragment from his knee.

The Gai Waterhouse/Adrian Bott trained stayer won the VRC St Leger at Flemington at his last start and was being targeted at the feature staying races during the Spring but will require four months of rest which will rule him out of most if not all of the Spring.
