Star Western Australian mare Galaxy Star has been retired to the breeding barn following her win in the Strickland Stakes.
Galaxy Star has gone out a winner having won the Strickland Stakes in an eye catching last to first win on Saturday with owner Bob Peters today confirming she will be retired immediately and will be served by Triple Crown winner Justify at Coolmore.

Galaxy Star’s feature win was in last years Group One Railway Stakes and will finish her career with 19 starts for 13 wins and 6 placings amassing over $1.5m in earnings.
