Three jockeys, Daniel Stackhouse, Brad Rawiller, and apprentice Tianni Chapman, have been handed suspensions following incidents at the Mornington races.
Tianni Chapman received a suspension of 24 meetings for careless riding during race five. Her mount, Moolah Moolah, shifted out near the 100-meter mark without sufficient clearance, resulting in a collision with Pride Of Galway. Apprentice rider Bailey Kinninmont was dislodged in the incident. Chapman’s suspension will start on May 25 and end on June 17.
Brad Rawiller was suspended for eight meetings due to careless riding in race four. He allowed his mount, Steele Liberty, to shift in without adequate clearance of Stunna The Runna. Rawiller pleaded guilty to the charge, and his suspension begins at midnight on May 31 and concludes at midnight on June 8.
Daniel Stackhouse received an eight-meeting suspension for breaching the whip rule during race two. He used his whip eight times before the 100-meter mark, exceeding the allowed limit by three strikes. Stackhouse’s suspension starts on May 25 and ends on June 1.
