Sense Of Occasion has taken out the Group One Doomben Cup
Sense Of Occasion has won the Group One Doomben Cup under a patient ride from Corey Brown.
The Kris Lees-trained gelding appreciated Saturday’s heavy surface and came with a late run to beat Star Exhibit and Rudy in the 2000m feature.
During the Sydney autumn, Sense Of Occasion finished third in the Doncaster Mile won by It’s Somewhat and third again behind Winx in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
