Red Resistance has been scratched from the Golden Slipper, leaving the field with only 15 contenders. The Racing NSW Stewards approved the withdrawal of the colt from the prestigious race on veterinary advice.
Trained by the renowned duo Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, Red Resistance was considered a strong contender for the win with odds of $9. However, this morning the colt was found to have a high temperature, requiring immediate treatment.
