Melbourne raider Princess Jenni will be a last minute addition to Saturday’s Group Two Perth Cup as connections wait on a flight.
Princess Jenni is booked on a flight to Perth which is scheduled to leave on Wednesday night but connections won’t know if there is room on the plane until a few hours before the scheduled departure.
“We’ll get confirmation on Wednesday evening and no one will be any of the wiser until then,” Brideoake told Racing.com.
“If there is a full plane, we have no hope of getting there.”
Melbourne Cup winning jockey Jye McNeil is booked to ride the Melbourne raider but will ride at Flemington on Friday and catch a flight on race morning if the mare makes it to Perth.
Princess Jenni is an $18 chance in Perth Cup odds with bookmaker Sportsbet.
