In-form trainer Neville Parnham is confident the best is yet to come from his Rommel entire, Snowdome.
The four-year-old has won six races and finished top three in seven of 16 career starts, prompting Neville Parnham to consider an interstate campaign next year.
Snowdome has evidenced his consistency in 2023 by winning three races and placing on four occasion from seven attempts in the autumn and winter.
Spelling after his previous run in June, Snowdome is preparing for the Pinnacles carnival at Ascot before Parnham turns his attention to New South Wales.
“He is spelling in the paddock and is back next week or next,” Parnham said on Tabradio.
“He never gets really gross so I’m not overly concerned with him putting on weight.
“He’s in good order when I saw him and is doing extremely well, he’s looking magnificent.
“I think the horse is just starting to mature into himself and I thought his form was more consistent and better than it’s ever been, even though he’s been a nice horse over the journey, so far.
“I think the best is yet to come and I would like to take him to Sydney for the autumn.
“He’s a fairly good horse and the races over there in the autumn would suit him.”
Parnham is also looking forward to further black-type success with Bustler at the Pinnacles.
The quality son of Playing God reached a high in the winter after taking out the Group 3 Belmont Sprint (1400m).
His best win came six months after he capped a four race winning spree in the Listed Fairetha Stakes (1400m) at Ascot.
“We’re happy with how he has come back and he looks in peak condition,” Parnham said.
“I expect him to come up to carnival type races and hopefully shapes into a Railway Stakes horse.
“I think the perfect race for him is The Gold Rush at 1400m.
“We’ll see how strong he has come back, but he looks in magnificent order.
“I’m looking forward to his preparation.”
Parnham said Flying Missile, one of his four Belmont winners on Saturday, is likely to tackle the fillies and mares series at Ascot later in the year.
