A memorial service for trainer Michael Moroney will take place at Flemington on Tuesday.
Ballymore Stables announced the service will begin at 11:30 AM in the mounting yard, Moroney’s home track in Australia. Attendees are advised to park in the members car park.
Moroney’s funeral will be held in his native New Zealand, with March 17 the likely date, though it is yet to be confirmed.
In a statement, Ballymore Stables expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support, saying, “Karen, Michael’s family and the Ballymore team would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love for Michael and for the many fond memories being shared.”
